Writingcourses.eu provides online writing courses. They are delivered direct to your inbox as a pdf, and include tutorial support. The materials arrived almost immediately along with an introductory e-mail from my tutor. Her advice was always helpful, encouraging and constructive, and I really felt my writing improved during the course. I also had my first article accepted for publication thanks to my tutor's feedback (yippee)! Sometimes I wish she had been a bit more critical, and I could have progressed even faster, but I suppose not everyone likes that.
