Lost Money

I wish these reviews were about in 2016. I was approached by a "Consultant" inviting me to a phone interview for an accounting course. I was promised work experience, all I had to do was some training and pass an exam. Due to me having a degree I only paid "HALF" of actual course price. I was skeptical about this company as there were no reviews or other pages on the company. Being young and dumb I agreed to pay £400. Once I paid i made sure they sent me invoices etc. I studied and when time came to do exams they said I had to pay AGAIN per exam. Which was not discussed before. I gave up on this, I was embarassed and ashamed of what happened. I hope that one day I will get my money back because £400 is alot of money. All communication was done via email and never skype/call, glad theyre shut down but does not make it okay tat they have stolen so much money from people.

If deals sound too good to be true, they really are.

This is what happened to me. I didn't know they were shut down. I had 1 number for silverhill training. but they never answered. only once. rest was done through emails with someone. im sooo disappointed. cannot believe that after all the effort, nothing came out of it. I really want my money back!

An Unpleasant And Expensive Experience

I was approached by one of their consultants and we agrred to take on the CPD certificate. Having got a master's degree, I didn't have to pay the full amount.

After having paid, they gave me access to their portal which had HR notes, also freely available on the internet, and after finished my papers, I asked them about the formal exams. At that point they asked me for more money and when I told them that this wasn't in our agreement, they told me that either I will pay for the exam or I had to wait until a free exam is available. As you can imagine, their promises about job had also been fake.

During the whole period, they didn't answer any phone and we communicated only by email, when they wanted to answer. It's been over 4 months since they stopped any kind of communication.

Overall, I lost £500 pounds and lots of time to complete their papers.

Think again, if you are about to start a certificate with them.

Is that so???? I have been trying to contact them since days. They have not got back to me. I am even not able to access their website. Even if paid £500/- for a course. Do you think the police will help??

Martina123

They closed down on 1st of March 2018.. you can check it on Silverhill Training Twitter.

I just reported this company to the police. I think you should do the same. They have kept our money and nobody has even had the decency to answer our emails. I want my money BACK!

Quick On Payment, No Absolute Response After

I was approached by Kacper Malik 2017 November. He spoke to me instead of paying the full amount i will only pay some since i have got myself a Bachelors Degree. He prompt me by paying the course quickly. He is indeed very quick on his reply and calls. Hence, me being an idiot paid for it immediately with his promising words saying there are limited positions in law firms in London. I paid and took my test upon studying online. Awesome, i passed, good news. The support desk then emailed me saying congratulations and will forward me the legal certification and has forwarded to career team to get back to me in 10 days. It has been 3 weeks. No response on email, no calls nothing. I hope silvertraining representative can actually look into this because this is quite unfair to my situation.

I don’t think so. The company went bust.

Hello Please I had the same experience. I paid and did not get my certificate. Can we sue them of report the people?

Louiselle1604

You’re not going to get them back trust me.. I want my money back too and I have disputed this.

The company has gone bust and no longer exists. I demanded for my money too but have had no response. Explains why now. I have been waiting for work experience since this time last year. A year and no experience only now to find out the company no longer exists which I found out via twitter! Ridiculous. We all need to get our money back.

Company Gone Bust

I was enticed into doing a training course for £499. They took the money instantly and promised to get me onto a law work experience scheme. The online test was completed, though once this was done establishing contact with this rubbish company has proved impossible. They don't reply to emails, they don't have a contact number that works, and there is no one to speak to. They just run with your money. I'm still waiting and feel as though something must be done to take these idiots to court. I have no clue as to whether this company has folded, or whether they are still in operation. All I know is that I've been treated badly and advise others to never go through such a difficult ordeal. They are first class and prompt to recruit someone and make the money, but do nothing to support them in career aspirations. Beware.

same situation here. I paid the same price, completed my legal certification saying they will email me the certificate. They emailed me saying I have been forwarded to career team which will be in touch within 10 days. Nope no reply nothing. I am thinking of going over to the address and actually look for them and speak to them in person as soon as i arrive in england.

Still No Work Experience

I will say firstly that this seemed to be a legit company, offering their services to many people. However after being told that I would be 'guaranteed' to gain a placement in my local area as long as I paid immediately, i have yet to get anything or even hear anything since the start of 2018.

They would reply to emails very slowly, the careers team and the support team don't seem to contact each other and nobody has ever picked up the phone in the numerous times I have rung them.

I was told after completing the online test that i would be found work experience within 2 weeks, it's been over 8 weeks now and still no email, no phone calls, nothing. My guess is the company folded.

Do not use.

I've had issues with communication also, they've assured me that the careers team is looking for a placement however. I would keep emailing them, I've been waiting a month now.

Took A Lot Longer To Finish Than Expected

I join this company to learn and get experience I had problem half way through the programme and had to go see my family back home. When I returned they tell me I had a deadline which was to soon so I extended the course. The work was difficult for me because of my english, when I finished I had to wait almost 3 weeks of thr work. Very good but so hard for me.

Dream Career

I recently joined silverhill on the paralegal training programme.

Was very helpful regarding gaining experience.

I got to do a short course online, then had a chance to shadow a solicitor gaining experience in family law. I'm looking to gain a training contract so I feel this has put me on the right track and direction.

Only thing I would say is it's so hard to get through on their Lan line number, I could only get through after 3pm. Luckily my career consultant was helpful when I emailed them.

Very Good Experience...

I have had a very good experience with Silverhill Training as the study guide layout is very easy to navigate and they assist me with my experience. Also my tutor has been very helpful with any queries I have had and I did not have to wait around to be placed.
