It's been four years and I still look back on my time in Arusha, arranged through KATz, with an aching fondness. Back then it was a fledgling organisation, but they still managed to put on a great show; Kili, safaris and placements were all great. I can see how seriously the owners take their volunteers - from a distance I can see how the feedback we gave has been implemented into further improving the experience for volunteers, and most importantly, the locals they seek to assist. In 2013/2014 I spent 5.5 months with Katz in tanzania! It was an amazing experience with exceptional high quality service as you become part of the Katz family. The volunteer programs offered will bring a smile to your face more then once and truly allow you to immerse in the African culture. If you are interested in climbing killi, going on safari or seeing any of tanzina's hidden gem Katz has you covered offering fantastic tours at reasonable price where you know the money is going back into the community.

Overall the experience was once in a lifetime, truly somthing you will not regret it!

I cannot thank team KATz enough! From their efficient responses to my millions of pre-departure questions to the very last airport drop off and everything in between I could not fault any of you. The in country Staff are amazing, the food delicious, the Maisha Cottage guesthouse not only a perfect location but a beautiful place to relax in with other volunteers. I completely fell in love with the kids at my orphanage project and the 4 weeks i stayed just flew by far too quickly. I will never forget the kids, staff and everyone i met while in Tanzania and cannot wait to return again one day soon. Asante sana.
