I Needed A Cheap Watch That Would Be Practical And
I needed a cheap watch that would be practical and easy to live with. I picked the Timex T20041 because it was cheap (less than £25) and had a 10 year battery. It also has "indiglo" which works really well, the whole face of the watch lights up when the knob is pressed.
It shows both day and date, but the day is really hard to adjust. You have to wind the hands around 24 hours to change the day. I bought mine on a Saturday, and the display said Sunday, so that was a lot of hand spinning. Luckily, I shouldn't have to do that again until the battery is changed in 10 years time! The date is easily adjusted, and this will need to be changed whenever there isn't 31 days in a month.
The leather strap is very soft and comfortable, and the dial is very easy to read with large clear numbers and simple hands.
