Seamaster Is Good, But Not Great - Upgrade To Planet Ocean

The Seamaster is a good watch, better than most but not as great as most. If you want a great watch, upgrade to the Planet Ocean as it would hold better its value, it would perform a LOT better under water and it would give you an edge of exclusiveness.

Planet Ocean's are more admired that the "replica wild" rolexes and they are more unique.

The Seamaster 300M feels a bit like a big brother Aquaracer, but still not quite a submariner.

Best decision i made was to get the planet ocean and so should you as it would pay in the future.

I Don't Understand Why My Watch Winders Can't Keep

I don't understand why my watch winders can't keep my Omega purring like my Rolex. Also when you first put the watch on in the morning you can hear and feel the intermal winding on your wrist. That being said its been my everyday watch now for about 8 years. I had it serviced once for $350.00 and it still keeps good time. I've taken this watch around the world on more than one occasion and still love it for everyday use. Omega Seamaster Professional with titane band.

I Was Purchased The Omega Seamaster Pro For My 21s

I was purchased the Omega Seamaster Pro for my 21st birthday by my parents and after initially reserving to wear it regularly, it now has become my everyday watch.I have a couple of other watches, but I wouldn't wear any other as the Omega straddles the line between quality and cost very well and few others look as good in all situations. It truly does look timeless. It has a lovely weight and feel, and the scratch-proof glass is priceless, and many I know have been swung from other brands after looking at mine. Unfortunately the bracelet has gained a few scratches in the few years that I have owned it, but I am unsure if this is preventable. If this was possible though, the watch could still look 'as new' after many years.I have always liked the fact that this is James Bond's watch of choice, but I don't like that it was mentioned (almost shamelessly) in 'Casino Royale' and that the marketing with the latest Bond film has possibly gone too far for it's image to stay intact. It is keeping the image downmarket against other (not just paying for-the-name) quality brands such as Ebel. This is a fantastic watch if you are after superb quality and value for money, but don't buy it for the image. Watches like this are not supposed to be understated only in looks.

This Is My Second Seamaster. The First Was Plagued

This is my second seamaster. The first was plagued by problems to the point that I gave it away after six years of ownership. This titanium model has been mechanically OK but a poor time keeper like my old watch. I have to manually wind it or it loses about five mins per four weeks. If they sold a 'wind up' model I would buy that instead. It does look good though and since 2002 I can't find a better looking watch at all. It's nice and light too.

I currently own a Titanium Seamaster and it has never kept time and has run 5 to 10 mins fast. This, I am told should not be the case; 6 secs should be the max. However Omega UK are still happy to charge a small fortune to sort out a problem which in my mind is Omega's issue and not mine. I was also told by Omega UK that if the watch is worn while doing activities like biking, then the watch will need to be serviced every 2 year as opposed to the 6 year recommendation. Obviously it is not up to the standard we would expect!!

I Have Had This Omega Seamaster Watch For 9 Years.

I have had this Omega Seamaster Watch for 9 years. No problems yet. If you go diving regularly it is recommended that it is serviced every couple of years to maintain it's watertightness. This can be a little expensive.
