RMC Jeans Model 1001

I am very pleased to note that jeans are being brightened up a little - and hopefully not the same old boring blue denim? I miss the 'swinging sixties' in the U.K. when a large number of youngsters took pride in their appearance and wore beautiful and often brightly coloured clothes. Now in the U.K. we see an endless procession of apparently compulsory torn raggy jeans with the waist band cut far too low - and ladies often with their bulging tattooed bellies protruding below blouses cut far too high. A few months ago I attended the Birmingham International Clothes Show at the National Exhibition Centre and was not surprised to find that the only clothes for men on the catwalk were underpants (yes really) and after walking through all the hundreds of exhibitors' stalls I found no-one selling fashion items for men. Apologies if I missed an occasional hooded anorak! Youngsters in the U.K. appear to have largely abandoned their timeless role of shocking their parents with the latest fashion trend and have decided to become conventional unprovocative untidy clones, occasionally protesting when their parents dress 'too young.' Yes, come on youngsters - shoot me down, get angry, wake up!
