Do not buy these I paid over £100 and never recieved even a word!

I ordered a pair of boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd since last year May im still waiting for it ha ha. Now the company has dissolved there is no means for me to get back my money. one thing i will say is i will never purchase anything from an unknown company on the internet again!

the boots themselves are well made and have lasted well. I wear them virtually everyday in the autum/winter. They're about the same price as every where else, and for value for money are fine. But then I only paid for one pair of my 3!! Product is fine for the price, things did get sorted out but it took a lot of patience (all the time they had my money) and a lot of perseverence. Was made up for the fact that I got my boots free and another pair free because of the wait, but it was due more to my 'suggestion' rather than the company's. I have been assured that the supplier has been changed and so the problems should be sorted.The first pair I ordered arrived quickly and there was nothing wrong with them...however, when I ordered a second pair there were problems. They took over a year to arrive, I did recieve them free and a free pair after about 6 months to keep me happy in the mean time. I can accept that they had supply problems but it was me that had to keep checking and chasing it up, and I had to chase them to give me a refund. I did manage to have a contact with one person, possibly because the comoany is so small, and I have been told that the suppiler has since been changed because of the problem with my order.

I'm thrilled with my boots as I have always had problems finding the right length boots to fit me, being very short. And the fact that there is a choice of styles and colours is great. Will definitely be using this company again.

I am very concerned as my only contact is through the web site which is now displaying a note to say it's being overhauled. The Calf Width Boot Company have not responded to my email request for their contact details. I feel rather foolish having parted with my money before even having an address but I was so happy at finding a company that could supply a pair of boots that fitted. I would be very grateful if anyone knows a contact address or phone number please share it via a review.

Purchased boots in march 2008 returned for refund, still not received it yet, now it's october, cannot seem to contact company in any way I can find no phone number, email address or address listed.

My husband has also purchased a pair of boots from the calf width boot company, expecting to receive them shortly after he had paid but it has been a month now and have received nothing yet, they were meant to be a birthday present from my husband. We are on a very low income and over a hundred pounds from our income is a hell of a lot of money, I wish we had found this site before.

I think it is disgusting that they have treated us like this, I am so angry!

I am glad its not just me - ordered my boots on 21st April 08 and still have received nothing yet! Have been in contact with them by email on many occasions promising they would arrive soon. They assured me they were only taking orders for boots that were in stock. They promised me my boots by the end of August but still have received nothing yet. I have not received any reply to any emails or phonecalls since. I am so cross about the whole thing and I don't understand how people be allowed to do this?

I ordered some boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd on 16/09/2008 and got the same telephone message as another person about the company changing to Google check out and therefore they were refunding my payment. I haven't received the refund yet. The telephone number on the site doesn't seem to work either whenever I've tried it. I also sent numerous emails that I have not received a reply to and now the site appears to have gone down altogether!

I am trying to claim a refund on my Egg credit card. They were brilliant over XL.com going bankrupt and I got a refund within a month so I am optimistic. Well done Egg!

I ordered my boots from The Calf Width Boot Company Ltd on 20th September and have received nothing yet. Once I'd read the recent reviews of this company I became very worried and tried to call the company. The number seems to be dead. I have not received a reply to my emails and since I paid by debit card, I can't claim any money back from a credit card company. I saved really hard to buy the boots - I'm unemployed and so losing just under £100 is going to hit particularly hard. I'm still hoping that I might receive the boots and will leave a review if that is the case.
