Pandora Ring

My daughter wanted a Pandora ring for her 18th birthday. She picked a silver one with enamelled flowers on it. She absolutely cared for it exactly as she was advised. Ten weeks later and on a very hot morning she put the ring on, got in to the back of my car and we drove to the beach. When she looked down the ring was completely squashed on to her finger! There was no accidental damage whatsoever. We returned it to the shop it was purchased from with original receipt and were duly told that my daughter had damaged the ring. We persevered but they kept telling us they were a franchise and they couldn't exchange the ring and that my daughter had damaged the ring and the sales assistant said that she had never seen a ring go out of shape before and the total lack of colouring on the enamel was my daughter keeping it on when washing her hands. We were getting a bit cross but agreed to have it sent off for the magical "analysis" which after almost 12 weeks was a pathetic non-headed letter saying there was no fault with the metal and the item was not covered for refund or exchange - of course! Interestingly enough we were offered a free reshaping of the ring - how does this apply if rings don't get misshapen?? Come on Pandora, quality and customer services and memories - who are you kidding? I would never buy anything from Pandora again or ever recommend it.
