Beware!
It is very easy to be fooled by websites that look as though they are part of Mulberry because they are so convincing, as we found out to our cost. If you are sent what you ordered it will come from China and be a fake in our experience and having searched the web many many other people have been fooled too. The sites are there one minute and are soon replaced with another with a slight name change but always appearing to be Mulberry themselves. The sting is that you will see a price, pay it but a far greater sum is taken from your credit card account.
I am not sure if I am allowed to give details of the URL's but a search for Mulberry brings up these Chinese sites and until you have been cheated there are no clues that they are Chinese.
The purse we purchased is of poor quality and over £100 was taken from our card. We are hoping our Credit Card provider can help recoup our loss.
Why should they? If you were unwise enough to purchase from an unauthorised stockist, you are 'asking for trouble.' No premium brand will sell their goods at a fraction of the price they normally sell for. When you buy fake you buy into child exploitation and organised crime. In future, either save and buy from an authorised stockist retailer or wait for their official sale. Alternatively, you could get something cheaper from one of their outlet stores if you don't mind a limited choice. You get what you pay for. Wherever you get it from, you won't get a £1000 bag for £100, £900 perhaps.
