Soltan Beautiful Bronze Self Tan Non-Tinted Mousse

Well... I originally only bought the Boots Beautiful Bronze Self Tan TintedMoisturising Gelat the Birmingham New Street branch of Boots because it was on offer, so I only paid about £3.99 for it! Bargain...but I was actually really impressed with the results, having heard the Soltan tanning products were pretty rubbish.

So....

*What the product claims to do...*

- Nonstreaking

I have definitely not had any problems with streaking using this product, the mousse really helps for an even application.

- Easy to apply light formula

Tick again, it feels fab going on your skin, not sticky and horrible at all! And it sinks in perfectly.

- Lasting summer scent

Ok, lets be realistic, no fake tan is going to have a 'lasting summer scent', unless your summer smells like biscuits or corn flakes... but it doesn't smell as bad as some tans!

- Natural looking colour

I had a few issues with this, it really is a very light colour that develops, but it does say on the back to reapply after a couple of hours for a deeper colour. I think it depends on you and how brown you like to be! But the eventual colour is lovely, not orange at all. It isn't the most permanent of tans, it does wash off in the shower fairly quickly but it lasts about 2 days or so!

- Extra moisturisation

I didn't notice a massive amount of moisturisation, but it doesn't dry out your skin anyway, so that's a plus!

So all in all a good product!

I have bought this many times, even at full price which is £7.99! Definitely a good buy, pasrticularly for first time tanners...though I have found having to reapply so often means it is better to buy a darker self tan if you want value for money.
