Famous Dave's Gradual 10 - Gradual Self Tanner and Tan Extender

I picked Famous Dave's Gradual 10 up from Boots having used their Moisture Tan products in the past and I like the Famous Daves lotions. First impressions were very good - a nice light lotion, not too thick, with a quite light fragrance. The lotion went on very well and felt really moisturising, it claims to have lots of rich ingredients in it like Rosehip oils, aloe vera, cocoa butter, etc. so i was hoping for a nice moisturising effect - and it hasn't disappointed. My skin felt really nice after only a few minutes and it absorbed quickly and didn't leave my skin feeling sticky like other gradual tanners like dove or holiday skin.

I put the Gradual 10 on in the evening before bed and woke up with a nice bit of colour after just the one go, which was quite a nice surprise given it's a gradual tanner! Certainly wasn't a dark 'noticeable' type of tan like you would expect from a real fake tan, but it gave me just a lick of colour that actually looked very natural and like I'd just caught the sun a bit. I used it again the following evening as just a daily moisturiser before bed and noticed the colour had deepened a little overnight but again only a bit so it still looked nice and natural. That was enough for me as i don't like going too dark because I'm fair skinned, so I left it for a few days and the colour seemed to stay with me and not just disappear, which i'm really happy about. I topped it up with another application 4 days after my second one and find that i only need to apply it now once every few days to keep a nice glow maintained, and it keeps my skin looking lovely.

I can't really think of any downsides to the product so far based on my use of it, perhaps for me maybe just the fact I can't use it everyday because I think overtime it may take me a bit too dark, but then I'm quite happy i don't have to use it everyday because I often don't have the time to apply a fake tan everyday! I'd recommend trying this product out, I have tried lots of gradual tans in the past and most just haven't worked or have had really bad smells, this one seems to do the job well and smells quite nice too.
