Fake Bake Self Tanning Lotion

I recently bought this self tanner and i never used self tanner before and it went on super easy no streaking. Color looks great.

Would buy this product again.

One thing i do recommend is if u have sensetive skin use the fake bake face tanner.

I liked that is was a spray bottle so easy application. Dont have any negative things to say about it. I put it on in the morning and leave it on all day then i take a shower at night. U need to let it sit for a long time. The longer the better. I would also recomend spraying it on the brown side of the mit first then in a circular motion put it on your body.

I've been using Fake Bake for about 3 years now. I find it excellent, because it's coloured it's easy to apply and you can see where you've already been. Also I've done it in a rush a few times and just kind of 'slapped it on' yet it still comes out even. To me the smell isn't a problem because it's only noticeable the first day after you apply and then goes. Only slight downside for me is I don't find the colour lasts more than 3 days and also it tends to go slightly patchy on my chest for some reason. That said this won't stop me buying and I find it overall very good. I also find it gives you a lovely colour which doesn't look at all fake.

I have used this item now for a few weeks to enhance my tan before I went on holiday. I think it is the best self tanning lotion you can buy as it is great value for money, non-streaky and does not turn the skin orange. Fake bake self tanning lotion has application gloves provided with the product so that your palms do not go brown. It is advised to ex foliate the skin before applying the lotion so the tan effect is even, this also leaves your skin feeling gorgeous. It is best to apply the lotion at night as the smell is not very desirable. One the lotion has been applied to the skin it takes 5 - 10 minutes for the lotion to absorb into the skin. This may vary depending on how greasy your skin is and how much lotion you apply. A thin even layer all over the skin is enough to get a gradual tan. It is always advised to apply as thinly as possible and build up your tan slowly so that you don't get patches. If you follow my advise then you will have the perfect tan like me. Application was easy- I put on with rubber gloves.

Cream doesn't smell great and is even worse when developed.

Coulor is nice but subtle as I have very pale skin- does not make you look orange and does not streak.

Lasts 4-5 days before you need to re-apply. You can apply over the top without it looking patchy too :)

A great fake tan and comes second to Xen tan dark lotion which I have just started using!

Ive tried many self tanning creams, lotions, sprays etc but found this to be the best. Would def reccomment Fake Bake.

Fake Bake is the only tan I have ever found that doesnt look orange. I seriously do not know why the media ignore this fantastic product.

I have used fake bake for a few years, and good point about it is ease of application, as it has a very dark colour guide you can see exactly where you have/haven't applied. Don't be scared when you look in the mirror after application, once you shower in the morning you will have a beautiful natural tan.

The bad points are the smell, mixture of curry and digestive biscuits!! Strange but true! And it takes a while to get rid of that sticky, cant get dressed yet feeling. Also the fact that it is quite expensive doesn't help if you need to use it once a week like me to disguise my 'blue/white' skin. To be honest I have since found other products which are much cheaper and give similar results. bodycare do a very cheap copy (around £2- £3 a tube) called 'fake don't bake' which is excellent. Although it doesn't have the colour guide, if like me you have been using fake tan for years, will be an expert when it comes to applying. Also Dove gradual self tanner/moisturiser is excellent if you buy the medium/dark one, by far the best of the moisturiser self tans!

Overall not a bad product, great if you need an instant colour, but for regular fake tanners, save your pennies and go for the cheaper version. Happy tanning people!
