This Scrub May Not Suit Sensitive Skins. It Would
This scrub may not suit sensitive skins. It would be more advisable to dilute the content using water prior to applying on your face.
Do not use the scub too often.

I First Tried This As A Sample Out Of A Magazine.
I first tried this as a sample out of a magazine. I opened it and smelt, and thought this smells okay, quite nice actually. Not really like apricot though. I wet my face, like it said, and squeezed it out of the sachet, to find tiny little beady things (I guess this is the apricot. Hence the "apricot scrub"), and I thought wow, this is going to get rid of all my dead skin. I placed it on my face and massaged. In fact I rubbed quite hard so I had better results. Personally I wouldn't advise this, because you might end up with a red sore face, so just do like it says on the sachet/bottle which is "massage". I massaged/rubbed for 1 to 2 minutes, and then I washed it off with cool water. After I had dryed my face, I saw the results, which were really good. My skin appeared and felt soft and healthy. I recommend this product, because the results are shockingly good. I bought my first bottle on Saturday, and have used it once so far. It costs between £2 and £4, depending on where you buy it.

St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub Is A Great Prod
St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub is a great product and you can actually feel that it has worked once you have used it, your face feels fresher and your pores feel clear. I would recommend wearing a head scarf or band as the little beads go everywhere. Great value too.

It does the job and your skin is softer-great!
I've just introduced my boyfriend to it. He seems impressed too and he suffers from dry skin which tends to flake.
Now he's smoother than a baby's bum.

St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub - As A Regular
St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub - As a regular user of fake tans and the occasional sun bed, I'm always looking for that perfect product to exfoliate my face. I have tried many products in the past but I was in heaven when I came across this St Ives invigorating Apricot Scrub.
I'd used St Ives products before such as body lotions and cleansing wipes and had no problem, so decided to buy this face scrub. St Ives is known for its Swiss Formula. This Scrub comes in an orangey apricot bottle with a blue lid, which is easily flipped open! The tube contains 150mls; I'm still on my first tube after a month and will expect it to last for a least another. The Apricot scrub is an original formula made with 100% natural exfoliants. It states on the packaging that "it cleans deep into pores and gently removes dull, dead skin cells to instantly reveal noticeably smooth, radiant, healthier looking skin. In just one use you can see and feel the difference".
It also states that it is
. Dermatologist Tested
. Non-drying
. Won't clog pores
. Vitamin-rich Apricot extract
. Swiss glacial water
. Nourishing Swiss botanicals
I bet, great, you're thinking, but does this product actually work?
The first time I used this product I washed my face in my normal face wash first. This was just to make sure all my make-up was removed, as with the scrub having exfoliating beads in it, the eye area is a bit sensitive for a good scrubbing! And you should avoid this area. So after washing my face I then moistened it and followed the instructions on the bottle, "Apply with fingertips and gently massage". I got a small amount onto my fingertips and started to blend in into my skin. The scrub is an orange colour with tiny dark orange beads. The consistency of the scrub it quite thick and pasty which I think is a good start, it didn't smell as apricot'y as I thought it might, but the overall smell wasn't too bad. When applying to the skin you feel those beads straight away. There's no need to scrub hard you just gently rub the scrub onto your face, and believe me you can feel that old grubby skin being smoothed away! The scrub wasn't hurting my skin either, which I had found to be a problem with other face exfoliators. After scrubbing my face I washed away with warm water and patted my face dry. I then moisturised with my usual moisturiser.
The results, well I'm not going to say I had a new face or anything but there was very noticeable results. My cheeks looked rosy and my skin just had that radiance look about it. Plus it felt fresh, perky and healthy! I had soft, smooth skin, which was a brilliant base for my foundation. It also seemed to get rid of all those annoying black heads around my nose area. I do advise that if you have sensitive skin maybe to try another product, my friend who has very sensitive skin found that it made her skin itchy and very dry. I do know that there are sensitive products available from this range so maybe you would be best trying one of those. After using the scrub 3 times a week for a month my skin is really healthy and looking radiant it really does do what it says and this has now become one of my regular beauty regimes. I would definitely recommend this product.
I bought my St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub from superdrug when the range was on offer. I paid £1.99 for it but I think the usual price is around £3.99. Although if you get yourselves down to superdrug before the 23rd of March they have 40% off this product which isn't bad!! I know the St Ives range is also available from boots.
