Love St Ives Whipped Silk! The Smell Is Subtle And

LOVE ST IVES WHIPPED SILK! The smell is subtle and soft and doesn't compete with my soap or other body fragrances.

Has this product been discontinued? I sure hope not! Even on St Ives' website, the shop online link to drugstore.com doesn't even list it! St Ives talks about the product still, on their product finder, but it isn't available on the online shopping link!

I NEED MORE... MY BOTTLE'S ALMOST EMPTY! Can anyone help me?!

Hi I bought some in a pound shop in derby today.

If it has been discontinued maybe you should try discount toiletries shops like Savers and Bodycare?

Hope you track some down!

I Am Very Particular About What I Use To Keep My S

I am very particular about what I use to keep my skin at its best so when I stumbled across this body wash in a friend's bath tub, I was curious so I used it when I showered in her bathroom (don't tell her!). The result: unbelievably soft, smooth skin. This is now the ONLY body wash that I use now because none of the others that I used were even close. One time, I couldn't find it in the grocery store, so I bought some other, slightly more expensive body wash. A week later, I saw it back in the store and the next day, I returned that other body wash. Sad, I know, but well worth it. I hear that there is a matching lotion, so I wonder if it's as good as the body wash...

I love this. This and the shower lotion are both amazing. I have dry, sensitive skin and this stuff makes me feel like I am made of silk.

My Today, Near Empty, Soon To Be Replaced With Ano

My today, near empty, soon to be replaced with another container of Whipped Silk comes in a 12 oz. plastic bottle. The bottle itself is white, with a dark blue flip top lid. While many of the St. Ives' lotions I use have a handy pump for dispensing the product, this particular moisturizer squeezes through a little star shaped hole in the top of the bottle. The lotion in hand looks almost like a cake deco as the moisturizer is squeezed out. Looks don't do a thing for the moisturizing I suppose, nonetheless, I like it.

I found the bottle of St. Ives Whipped Silk displayed on the shelf in WalMart's Health and Beauty department where stood a number of other hand lotion and similar products. I'm a died in the wool user of St. Ives products, moreover, the words 'Intense Body Moisturizer' on the bottle caught my attention immediately.

Intense Body Moisturizer, or at least intense fingerprints area moisturizer, was most certainly what I was looking for. The pleasant, soft petal breeze scent of the lotion seems to be specifically intended for extra dry skin. NOTE: The scent may be a tad bit stronger than I actually detect: I have allergies to the point that I cannot smell just hit skunks laying dead on the roadway and, I AM able to catch a little of the scent of the moisturizer as I apply it to my skin. I did notice a second scent is available, don't know that I'll need to change, but it is nice to know 'Fresh Orchard Mist' is available should I get the odd yen for variety.

I have long used St. Ives products simply because I learned long ago; St Ives company does not test on animals in addition the company produces an exceptionally good, high quality product that is priced well below many other products I find available. I have not been disappointed with my bottle of Whipped Silk. I use it on feet, arms and legs as well as fingertips and find the claim on the bottle to be accurate: 'whipped for indulgent skin therapy, proven to leave even the driest skin silky soft, never greasy.'

I purchased this product from Walmart for under $5. It's a nice, super softening, silky moisturizer for use head to toe. And, will even help restore your fingerprints if you have the need!

Ingredients

Water (aqua), C12-15 Alkyl Ethylhexanoate, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Cyclomethicone, Glycol Stearate, Sorbitol, Cetyl Alcohol, Mineral Oil (paraffinum liquidum), Dimethicone, Dimethicone Copolyol, Petrolatum, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Aminomethyl Propanol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Retinyl Palmitate, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Helianthus Annuus Extract (sunflower), Chamomilla Recutita Extract (matricaria), Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Primula Veris Extract, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, DMDM Hydantoin, Carbomer, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Fragrance (parfum), Ext. I think St. Ives Whipped Silk certainly more than holds it own against the more expensive moisturizers available today. It is a sumptuous feel going on and for some time to follow during the day. I'm sold, St. Ives Whipped Silk unquestionably is a must have for this 'little old lady school marm.'
