Dermapower Microdermabrader

I love this unit! It actually diminishes or removes brown spots and scars on arms and face. A light touch goes a long way, so don't overdo it.

Dermapower Microdermabrader has had a big impact on my life. My life was acne free until I turned 17. And by that time everyone else had basically cleared up so I felt as though it made it worse to be alone. I became so obsessed with my complexion and was constantly trying anything the dermatologist or t.v. could sell me. Nothing really worked. So now I am 22 with a pretty clear face that is destroyed by pock marks. I wanted no reminder of the hard years inbetween 17 and 22 so I tried everything. When I took my girlfriend (thats right I am male) to Hawaii we ended up at a spa. They recommended Microdermabrasion treatments and I was already spending my life savings so I figured what the heck. I had 1 treatment in Hawaii and two more in my hometown. After the third one there were visibly different results. Unfortunately I could not afford to pay the fees. So I began to search for alternatives.

None of them worked. The most I can say was they all made my face shiny. When I saw Dermapower's Infomercial they were promising real results. So I visited their website, when I read their clinical study I decided I wanted to try it. But I had already been burnt so many times and their product was about 1.5 times more expensive than the others I had used. It was hard without knowing someone who had used it and since the price was a little to steep for me. I delayed. Then one day I decided I was just going to do it. Fortunately that day I read a review of this product on an Australian Review Page. Someone on that page mentioned another site that resold Dermapower's product at a little cheaper.

I honestly regret waiting as long as I did to buy Dermapower. I wish I had found them first then I would have saved months and a couple hundred dollars. Because for the first time since my late teens I don't feel shame when I look in the mirror. I can't say that it was a magical cure and bam my face is flawless but it is so much better.

Dermapower Microdermabrader - First let me start by saying I have previously experienced the results of dermanew and powerpeel. I can honestly say I was not that impressed. Especially with dermanew, the product seemed to merely polish my skin and accomplished little if anything else.

That is why when a friend recommend Dermapower's microdermabrader I was highly skeptical. I had already invested in dermanew and was getting no results. However, after much discussion I opted to purchase only the microdermabrader. WOW!!! It was amazing. I did not see results after the first treatment but oh my after the second and especially the fourth I was amazed. My skin felt and looked smoother and the wrinkles around my eyes vanished. I finally ordered all of the lotions and the sun screen (I would have saved a lot of money had I bought the package-- you live you learn). Impressed is the only word I can use.

If you purchase this product some things to keep in mind. I was very tempted to overuse this product. Luckily my friend warned me avidly not to do this. After I recommended this to another friend she did overuse it. In one corner of her chin a little scratch mark did appear. It did go away but it could have been avoided altogther if she had not overused it.

Another note. I noticed that after my first and second use my skin was a little more sensitive if I was out in the sun to long. I did not notice as badly using normal SP30 sun screen and not at all after I purchased the Dermapower sunscreen.

I purchased this product in Reno, NV for $170 (approx). Later I found their website www.dermapower.com and could have purchased the entire product for $229.00. I just looked and it can now be purchased for $179.00
