Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream

I started using the Dr Hauschka cleansing cream two years ago after reading about its reputed success in treating acne. It took me a while to adjust the thee "press and roll" application method, but once I did the results were absolutely unbelievable!

I still get the odd hormone-related spot now and then, but overall my skin glows with health and is clearer and more even than it's been since I was a child.

The cleansing cream smells lovely (to me) - kind of like a combination of yeast and marzipan, and I won't let anything else touch my skin these days. The only negative to me is the price; it's not cheap! However for me the benefits easily justify the investment.

I had a Hauschka "facial" several years ago on behalf of my daughter who had a skin problem & was really bowled over by it. Not what I was expecting at all - it was more an allover experience, starting with the feet! I have used the cleansing milk & the Roseday Cream light ever since. I have very sensitive dry skin. I would use all the .products, but sadly can't afford more.

Smell not great. This doesn't really remove all make up as hoped (no good at removing mascara).

I found the cleansing cream not at all effective: it does not appear to remove any dirt from my face and the roll and press movements seem ineffective to me... I am starting to wonder what the hype on Dr Haushka products is all about?

I am not at all happy with the Dr Haushka products - they do not leave my skin feeling clean.

I absolutely love Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream and way prefer it to the milk. The milk feels a little too much like its not really doing anything to my face, maybe because it is more sensitive but the cleansing cream feels like an exfoliator as well as a cleanser.

And if I'm honest I'm very attached to the natural smell aswell and would agree that other products smell very chemically after using this one.

My skin experiences the odd spot but combining this with the rose day cream really makes my skin feel and look great. Even my boyfriend said 'since you've been using that dr hauschka you've been looking a lot more radiant'!

This has been the only product (along with the day moisturizer) that has controlled my acne and made my skin feel soft and smooth again. I abandon the cleanser in the drier, winter months because and use the cleansing milk instead. Ok...well it doesn't smell like roses, but it is all-natural and fragrance-free. Using this product for the past two years I have actually become fond of this "scent" and now all other cleansers smell artificial.

People told me that Dr.Hauschka Cleansing Cream has the same scent as the cleansing milk but I just find it absolutely disgusting! To be honest, after 10 times of use, I still couldn't master the technique of 'roll and smooth' that Dr. Hauschka prescribes, but then again I gave up. The skin is quite red afterwards, although that may be due to the water. I didn't have this problem with cleansing milk at all. The good thing is that it leaves skin non-oily for a long time afterwards.
