Bee Gentle Peppermint Foot Cream

I work 12 hour night shifts as a nurse, as you can imagine the old feet take the brunt, have always had a real problem with hard skin which is really painful if it cracks, this cream was given to me by a friend (bless her!) wow! What a difference, and it didn't sting on the cracked bits!, always better if you can get someone else to rub it on your feet for you, but still fab.

I am becoming a big fan of this company.

Ok, sensible review head on...

The Foot Cream comes in a 140g pot that is full to the brim and the first thing you notice when opening is the powerful peppermint scent from the essential oils. On the label it also lists eucalyptus, lavender, and tea tree oils but the last two must be in such small quantities that they don't add any scent. I think the lavender and tea tree are there for their antibacterial properties and they do appear to work.

I know that we ladies are supposed to gently glow rather than sweat, but after eight hours in a pair of wellies ones feet can attain a fair pungent 'gentle glow'; this doesn't appear to be the case if I have used the cream in the previous couple of days. I'm not an aromatherapist so can't say which oil is responsible for this boon, all I know is I no longer feel the urge to remove my feet at the end of the day and leave them outside with my boots.

Application of the cream is very easy as it slides on with no effort, although it does take a while for it to be completely absorbed. I recommend putting it on just before going to bed. The effects are almost instantaneous and the feet are consumed in this feeling of 'cold fire', a kind of cool warmth. It's a very difficult sensation to describe but it results in all those aches vanishing and feels like your feet are floating. My apologies for the poor quality of my description.

Even after the first use I noticed an improvement (reduction) in the amount of hard skin on my feet and this has continued until my feet are almost like a teenagers again. Ok, so that is an exaggeration but it has been many years since my feet looked this good and it's how I like to think about the improvement. Why do we never outgrow vanity?

I could go on praising this product but the best recommendation I have to offer comes via a third party, a chiropodist friend of mine. She was so impressed with the results on my feet that she now uses the cream herself on her clients. We amateur reviewers can never compete with professional endorsement.
