Panoxyl 10 Acnegel

I am in my 40's and have always suffered with acne. I have used every product available over the years from topical creams, to antibiotics. I was also on the pill to manage it for years but decided last year that I needed to come off the pill due to my age but was worried about my skin so.....

I saw this product on Amazon and thought I would give it a go based on the reviews. I have quite oily skin so I went for the 10% thinking it would be good to dry it out as well. Glad I did, this has been the most effective topical cream I have EVER used.

Within two weeks I had brilliant results. I didn't suffer from dry skin at all but I do only put a little on rather than smothering my face so maybe that makes a difference.

I use this once a day at night after using Clearasil cleansing pads, and use a really good moisturiser in the morning after using a Clearasil Cleansing wipe which does the job. I find that I don't even have to use it once a day but every other day.

For the first time in years I am able to walk around with just a bronzing powder on for colour rather than requiring cover. I am amazed and very happy, I have even been seen outside the house without make-up on! I must also say that in my case all previous spot marks have slowly dissapeard as well.

Like the other reviews have recommended. I would actually start with the 5% and work your way up if you need it as I think I was very lucky that I got away with using the 10%. I now feel the next one I purchase can be the 5% and see how that goes.

i have just started using Panoxyl 10 Acnegel. it kills the spot fast. it dries the skin out.makes you red.

Very good - I have had mild acne since I was 13 (am now 33) and sufferers who have had it this long know there's no cure, you just have to find a way to manage it... well I found this cream on an online chemist and it is brilliant - using the instruction I just applied it once a day (evening) thinking it wasn't going to be effective just once a day (after applying quin morning and night) but it is really effective - clearing spots with no drying of the skin. For the first few days my eyes itched (which happened again with quinoderm) but I just made sure I rinsed the finger I used before applying eye cream (i know anti ageing and acne - it's a 21st century thing!).Just make sure you apply it to the whole area you get spots and be careful not to touch your eyes after.Now I just apply about once every 2 or 3 days, and I have hardly used the tube. Great stuff - just use a light moisturiser after if your skin feels a little tight (but mine does with soap anyway - ironic!)Recommended

All in all, it does its job of removing acne but you need to be patient and wait for the results to show.

I wrote this review to make you aware of what you might be getting into with this gel, I hope you take it as a recommendation and listen, I made a stupid mistake, and now I pay the consequences for not seeing a doctor first. Being your own GP isn't the best thing, either see a doctor first or if you take my review into consideration, listen to what I've said.

I have only given this product 3 weeks, and so far it just dried out my skin. my skin seems to have got even worst using the cream. now my face it like sandpaper with acne :(
