I actually got this mascara free from a goodie bag from Clothes Show Live and for a good few years I've been using mascaras from Lancome. I didnt use it until I ran out of my L'extreme. At first I was unsure about using it, but once i did, i couldn't believe how dark and thick my lashes looked! I curl my lashes and apply Lancome's Cils Booster for length and lasting power. One coat mainly just defines and darkens. After 2-3 coats, id have thick long curled lashes! Quite a miracle on my shortish, straight, spindly lashes! I liked the brush being quite fat but not too big that it will smudge everywhere over my eyelid. It DOES clump unfortunately. I WOULD NOT recommend this for people with oily eyelids though as it WILL smudge & it WILL flake if you leave it on overnight. If you have straight lashes id recommend you curl them. You'll need more effort to remove it also since it's waterproof! One last thing, if you like your lashes to be soft even with mascara, i wouldnt try this either as it might be a little heavy. But overall, great value for money! UNDER 3POUNDS!!! You got nothing to lose, try it if you want a budget mascara that will really dramatise your lashes!

LAST THING: if your lashes get weighed down by mascaras easily and drop, take off some of the excess on the wand before applying. This will make a big difference, especially on the tip because it causes clumping.

Was looking for cheap curling mascara, disappointed with Miss Sporty XX Waterproof Mascara coz wanted something a bit more than making thicker

I used the pink and blue tube one its better than any expensive one I have used and I have tried many! I like the non waterproof one too in the black and pink tube the xtra black one that rocks no clumpps just longer thicker lashes when you use with an eyelash curler really great for the price!

Overall I wish I had bought another product. It's not the best thing to use either: should be curved. So if you want to actually see your eyelashes bolder don't use this!

Miss Sporty XX Waterproof Mascara is a make up range with all products costing under £3. The mascara darkens the lashes but does not make them fuller or longer. I think it is worth paying a bit extra for a higher quality mascara.

The mascara is clumpy but for only £2.99, what did I expect? However, I did expect the mascara to do what it says on the tube and at least be waterproof. It wasn't. After a day in the sun, there were black flakes around my eyes and after using make up remover to take it off at night, I woke up the next morning to find black circles around my eyes.

Miss Sporty XX Waterproof Mascara is only £2.99, superb texture, does not dry out even after used for months, non clogging, smooth & light, look natural, does not cake or leave residue under eyes, just perfect.
