Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara

False Lash Effect - the only false thing is the advert.... it's dreadful! Thick and cloggy, like the cheapest mascara you first used as a youngster. Cost a pretty penny and just not worth it, will stick to Masterpiece Max - the very best. Don't be taken in by the claims of the advertisment for False Lash, it's just that !

I bought Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara after reading a few reviews and it really worked although I have long eyelashes it gave me a false lash effect. Would definitely buy again worth the money.

Max Factor Masterpiece Max in black is the best mascara I have ever used. After using Benefit Bad Gal Lash and Diorshow I never thought I'd find a better mascara. I thought Volume shocking by L'Oreal would be the runner up of the non designer mascaras I've ever used but last time I went to my local Boots to buy some Max Factor eyeshadow I thought I'd give it a try as they had an offer of a free gift if I spent over a certain amount!

When I used it I was pleasantly surprised. My lashes were instantly lengthened, thickened and curled, a real fluttery look. This mascara is good for day or night times as the effect can be accentuated for night time by applying a few coats. It doesn't clump much like other mascaras do, but as any, if you apply too many coats it will. I found that there is no need for me to use an eyelash curler whilst using this mascara.

I wouldn't consider the price a bad point really because I feel this product is worth the £9.99 price tag and compared to Diorshow which is £17, I find the only difference between them is the colour, Diorshow is a slightly deeper black.

I think that the brush is well designed as it seems to catch all the lashes at once and curl them right to the tip. The brush tip and bristles are made from rubber which seems to reduce clumping. The only downside I would say is that I went through this mascara quite quicker than usual but this could be down to how many coats I have been applying.

Overall I am really pleased that I discovered Masterpiece Max and it just goes to show me that the expensive mascaras aren't always the best, as this is £7 cheaper than my usual, which is a big bonus! I definitely recommend you try it.
