Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance

I just love this product. I have quite oily eyes, and so find every other mascara product I have used ends up under my eyes. If you have this problem, this really is THE best product. I have used it for about 6-7 years now, and will ONLY use it. It is easy to remove, just splash your eyes with warm water and gently twist your fingers whilst gently pulling down the lashes. No mess, no make-up remover needed, and it lasts as long as you can!!!

Harrods website is only place I can find it.

This is the best mascara I have ever used. My eyes are quite sensitive so I have to be careful what I use. I also tend to rub my eyes resulting in panda eyes, but with Kanebo mascara this is not a problem.It's very easy to apply and even easier to wash off, just with warm water. Lovely.

I have used this mascara for over 15 years and it is fantastic. I have tried numerous other mascaras, some more expensive, but this is definately the best I have found. It is waterproof, doesn't smudge only occsionally pieces come off but it is easily removable with warm water. I even leave it on over a coule of days sometimes and add to it for thicker lashes. I just wish Harrods wasn't the only supplier as I used to be able to get mine in the town 10 miles away!

I discovered this Mascara several years ago and won't use anything else - ever. I'm a lens wearer and constantly fiddle with my eyes and always used to end up looking like a panda. Impossible with this product. While applying can take a bit of getting used to its worth it. The 38 degree volumising version (with shaped wand) is fantastic. Availability a bit of a problem as only in Harrods but you can get from Japan on Ebay - have done this a few times and product is original and a fraction of the price but to be 100% safe who doesn't mind a visit to Harrods?

Love it - nothing else comes close and I'm constantly looking for more readily available, cheaper alternatives but as yet, there just isn't one.

Kanebo 38 mascara was recommended to me about 10 years ago by John Gustafson. It was available then from many stores including Debenhams so was easy to get hold of. Nowadays, only Harrods seems to sell it and I pray that they keep their Kanebo concession because this is the ONLY mascara (and I have tried many!) that is totally waterproof and smudgeproof. I have really watery, sensitive eyes (sun, wind, cold etc etc) and also blink a lot and this never budges. I just put it on in the morning and take it off before bed and never have to think of it at all. It is absolutely brilliant.

I am extremely disappointed with the Kanebo 38 degree mascara. It does nothing for my lashes. It is very runny so is messy to use and smudges easily when applying and I have been using mascara very successfully for many years. It does not separate lashes successfully or enhance them and does not remove as easily as claimed. Clinique make a better one using the same technology at a much lower price.

as far as I know, just got name changed from Kanebo 38C to Sensai mascara 38C

What I like the most about this mascara is

no clump during the day ,or raining day.(waterpoof)

it's super easy to clean up... wash with warm water and you can see the mascara fall off look like eye lush but it's not,then wipe them off with cotton pad. That is it.

Love it.... even the price is big higher than average, but trust me it's worth.

There is only one thing I don't like is last time I might got defect one, the cap inside is kind of loose after I used it for a while, everytime I pull the brush of , the cap come along.. very annoying.

I used lots of brands such as clinique, TOO FACED (bad girl mascara), shiseido etc...

Mascara 38C is the best of all.

Kanebo Mascara 38'C Silk Performance is brilliant! I always look for mascara that lasts and looks close to natural - it shouldn't be obvious. This does the trick - looks natural, no smearing or smudging and no mess when you're washing it off, perfect!
