Bourjois Liner Effect Mascara

I liked the mascara, I thought that it performed quite well. However it is sold as a 'liner effect' mascara which I don't really believe to be true. I think that you would need to apply eye liner also if that was the look you were going for. I bought it at an introductory price of £6.99, yet since then it has gone up to £8.99 which I don't really think is a suitable price for this particular product.

I thought this was a great mascara when I first used it, it definately does give lots of volume and makes lashes look amazing, plus it really does look like you are wearing eye liner! I also found it quite difficult to apply due to the shape of the tube, which was quite wide and chunky.

Unfortunately thats where the good bits end! Within half an hour of applying it started flaking really badly, and my eyes became incredibly sore and 'gritty'. I tried to remove it using eye make up remover pads plus water, which was a complete nightmare. Nothing would remove it and I was left with huge black marks around my eyes.

Would not recommend it and will not be using again, purely because of the hassle of removing it.
