Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara

This was truly the best mascara ever! I have used it for NINE years and have occassionally tried others (top cosmetic company versions) and always returned to Bourjois Coup De Theatre mascara.

I have tried the 2 in 1 version but just doesn't yield the same result. The original double applicator is the ONLY one that achieves that 'Are those false eyelashes or is she just incredibly blessed?' effect.

I cannot rave enough about this product and most upsettingly... it appears to be discontinued.

Why hasn't Bourjois just launched a new, 'Original is Best' campaign?

I want to praise Bourjois on their miraculous coup de theatre mascara, and I will definitely continue to use it. I have received loads of compliments on how long my lashes look and I have recommended it to all of my friends. A great buy all round!

Great lash lengthening properties and no clumps way better than Kanebo silk 38

I received Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara as a gift from my friend, for my birthday. The bottle is very big, so it can be a little difficult if you have a small make-up bag, but you can easily find a way around it! The bottle is very attractive, and the name of this mascara is also very attractive, especially because I'm an actress. So the mascara was doing well in my book, even before I put it on!

I put this mascara on and the white end visibly lengthened my lashes, more than any other mascara had done. Then I applied the black end, and that did it for me! My eyelashes we thick, black and dramatic! Also, if you wiggle the brush from side to side at the base then lift the brush to the end of the lashes in one stroke, it makes the eyelashes fuller. Most of the time I don't have time to apply both ends, because I am usually extremely rushed in the morning, but even if I only apply the black end of the mascara, it does the trick.

Although this mascara creates long lashes I don't think I've had my lashes looking excellent only spidery, although less is more I have not yet worked out how much less. There are better mascaras on the market.

I bought this out of curiosity, after seeing it advertised on TV and reading all the hype about it!

Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara has two ends; the white one is applied first to the lashes to create length/volume, then the black side is applied for the colour. I found that when I applied the black colour, my lashes all clumped together and it looked awful! I was left looking like I had about 3 eyelashes!! This doesn't separate the lashes at all, and the volume isn't very good. My lashes were left looking straggly and lifeless! At £7 it's a waste of money!

I wouldn't use it again, and I was really disappointed. I will stick to Maybelline in the future!

Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara makes my lashes the longest they have ever looked. It is easy to apply, and I guarantee that you will love this product. The white primer smooths on to lashes easily and it dries quickly for easy application of the mascara. It can clump a little though.

Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara isn't the best mascara I've bought and is certainly not worth the £8.95 I paid for it but still, it is good! It does really lengthen your lashes and my friends did noticed the difference! It does what it says on the packaging but don't go expecting any miracles!

Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara - I chose this mascara simply because I have red hair and was happy that Coup de Th atre was available in a reddish shade. Also, I was curious about the two-part application. I'm surprised and pleased by the results. My lashes look longer and thicker, and the application is quite easy, all things considered.

This Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara happens to be the one that I am wearing now. Its reaching the end of its life and the primer is at its end. However I find that this is the peak of its use simply because in it's sparse application, the white primer is fairly special, however I am unaware whether it, as the original high street brand double ended mascara compares to its Maybelline and L'oreal rivals.

Add too much primer and you'll never be able to get rid of the 'eyelash dandruff' and end up with freaky spider eyes (so a good buy for drag queens then!'But use the right amount and you'll have lovely delicate lashes or night time vamp lashes.
