Chanel Glossimer For Lips is a £15.50 lip gloss. No, it does not come with a solid gold wand or diamond crusted tube. For £15.50 you are getting a sophisticated formula that gives the wearer good color, smooth application, decent wear and NO stickiness. Is it worth it?

Well, given that I own or have owned over a dozen of them, I certainly think so.

Packaging:

Glossimers are packaged in a long slim tube with the trademark Chanel black and gold top.

Some shades of Glossimers are also packaged in the "mini" size, in boxes of four, or as special release samples. The minis are identical in style, but fit much nicer into your pocket if you are going without a purse for the evening!

The Product:

It's amazing. It's sheer, it's sexy, and it can even be shimmery. It's a gel-based gloss, which means that coats the skin of your lips very evenly and has great shine. The best part--it's not sticky and gunky.

CHANEL L VRES SCINTILLANTES GLOSSIMER is a great lip gloss that I would recommend to anyone who is a lipgloss junkie. The formula is light, but still a glass-like gloss without the I-can't-control-my-drool-look. I have four fab colors; Sideral, which is a limited edition color, Sirop, Pagoda, and Giggle. Sirop is, in my opinion, one of those historic colors that you hope they keep around forever; the color is slightly deceiving, but beautiful once on. BTW: Despite the stereotypes of the CHANEL line, the makeup is great for women of ALL ages to enjoy. I am younger and typically do not favor what is "recommended" based on my youth. Makeup is supposed to be fun and about enhancing a great beauty that already exists, so do not buy into stereotypes, the so-called "target audience," and inappropriate or outdated marketing campaigns of makeup lines, especially if the line is what you, the consumer likes. Chanel Glossimer Lip Gloss For Lips has a gel texture that is light and moisturising. Their shimmers are very subtle but visible, and it is much more flattering than the sparkles in Diorkiss. The downsides are that it doesn't smell or taste of anything, and it still gives me white lines after a while. I know it sounds silly, but I am a sucker for packaging, and it is impossible to resist the gold/black sleek packaging! I have got two of these already now.
