MAC Studio Fix

HI. i went to visit a mac store today at Croydon. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET BY THE WAY I WAS TREATED AND SPOKEN TO. The ladies that work at the store are VERY RUDE, DO NOT LISTEN TO A CUSTOMERS OPINION AND ALSO REFUSED TO REFUND ME MY MONEY BECAUSE WHAT I BROUGHT BROKE ME OUT, AND BY THIS I WILL NEVER BUY MAC FOUNDATIONS AGAIN AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO NO ONE AM SORRY ITS NOT YOUR FAULT BUT YOUR WORKERS. ESPECIALLY THE BLACK LADY AND A WHITE LADY THAT WAS ON THE TILL TODAY THE 13/02/14 AT 3.30PM.

I was using this product for around a year and at the time I did think the foundation was rather good. The positives were I found it lasted most of the day, it didn't make my skin break out and it photographed reasonably well. However It wasn't until I switched to another brand of foundation that I started to get compliments and I was told numerous times that my previous foundation (Mac) was too orange for me. I didn't notice at the time because I had a color match done by a Mac consultant I thought it would be suitable. I was shade NC 25 in studio fix which from as far as I know should be a cool undertone but it's so much more orange than my warm undertone foundation I'm using now. I still use their other cosmetics including lipsticks n eyeshadows and I love their prep + prime finishing powder but unfortunately I probably won't go back to using their foundations.

I tried this foundation as it was recommended to my friend. The girl in the shop promised it would stay on - which it didn't. by lunch time i looked like i had just washed my face it was that oily. The other thing is the smell, its awful. i had been smelling bonfires for a week everywhere i went, then realised, it was this foundation! i took it into the shop and the girl said that this was the usual smell! i only tried this for ten days as i could not deal with it any longer! it is also annoying that if you want a pump you have to pay an extra £3.50!

This foundation is very good compared to any that I've tried from the usual cheaper brands, however I wouldn't say it is like a "miracle" foundation at all. The pros are that it doesn't dry your skin out or make it too oily, although it does err- more on the oily side, so works best with a powder over the top. It is very blendable and takes a long time to dry, which is bad if you are in a rush but good if you like to feel as though you have plenty of time to blend it and rub it into your skin, whereas some foundations can dry too quickly and leave streaks. This definitely doesn't leave marks or streaks of any kind, and it lasts a long time in terms of it doesn't go patchy or flakey. It covers spots relatively well, but not well enough to be used on major blemishes without a concealer. I have tried three colours and they all matched to my skin tone, and the MAC people will also be able to get you your perfect match if you go into the shop. My only worry is that it does wear off during the day in that it stops having such good coverage, so I'll come home and find that it looks as though I'm wearing no foundation, however it looks better than it going streaky or patchy, and is nothing a heavy powder or application during the day can't fix. It also has broken my skin out in spots quite badly, so I may need to get a primer to act as a barrier between my skin and the foundation. I have very sensitive skin and anything can set it off, but this foundation has definitely aggravated it. Other than that, I thoroughly recommend this.

Your product is good but it would be easier to buy an elephant than tp buy from you on line. Your web page is atrocious going from dark to light so you have to keep peering. As for trying to pay - it is an absolut nightmare. The most difficult I have ever faced. Take a tip from Marks and Spencers who make it easy to order. I have tried many brands of foundations but this is the only one that is PERFECT! Its easy to apply, stays on hours on end (have to admit it does seem to melt a bit in humid climates!), look natural, covers up great and doesn't make you look shiny like a lot of foundations do.

If you cleanse every night you will not have any problems with clogged pores or break outs. I have acne prone skin but never had any problems with this foundation (unless i leave it on all night!)

I LOVE IT and will never ever go back to using any other foundations. If you haven't tried it, DO! You will not regret it!

I have never used mac foundation before. i wanted a change from bobbi brown as i cant seem to get the right colour for my skin tone. using this foundation for the first time ! So the first few days it look lush on my skin but now ive noticed a few spots.. So im hoping i am not one the ladies who is having a reaction as i did read a few reviews about people getting spots.. fingers crossed .

Talking about: the Liquid studio Fix Foundation

upside : easy to apply, buildable coverage with great shades , perfects the look of blemished skin - for me no experience of breakouts or cloged pores with this one but I always cleanse and scrub my face after full cover foundation.

downside:

1- doesnt hold well with humidity it doesnt get ruined tottaly but it sweats easy in high humidity and goes out with every tissue wipe.

2- Its too much for day time more of a night time coverage or atleast indoors day time.

I reccomend it generally it triumphes & delivers more than it fails.

the application is tricky as you have to put small thin layers to layer it for best results. initially it looks great but does not have lasting power. it wears off extrememyl quickly despite what everyone says

All I can say is that I LOVE this foundation. This is the first and only foundation I've found that matches so well with my skin tone. I just apply with a powder brush and go, and I'm always getting compliments on how great my makeup looks. I've tried other top of the line foundations and was disappointed. This product is so worth every penny spent!
