MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation

I have always wanted to try MAC and finally splashed money on this product and i love it. The lady at the counter recomended a darker shade for me which i noticed after few months wear so i mix the foundation with my all time favourite vitamin e body shop cream and put it on. It goes on very smoothly.

I have few blackheads so thought perhaps to try something different and opted for bareminerals......after a week of change from MAC i got so many spots. Therefore realises that MAC actually helped me get rid of my spots which i had before starting to use MAC. The foundation includes a glimmering particles which make your face glow that bit more.

I love it, but wish the lady at the counter chosen a better shade, but i still ove it :)

I have olive skin but it's quite pale so I have always struggled to find the perfect foundation and the MAC Mineralize is far from it for me.

I went into a MAC counter and asked them to colour match me a foundation which was sutable for my dry skin and this is what they came up with. Unfortunatly I was in a hurry that day and hadn't paid much attention to what she suggested. I just put my trust in them as MAC is usually a good, reliable brand.

The foundation however is much too orange for an olive skin tone. Not only that but what they describe as sheer coverage seems to cover next to nothing. You'd be better of not wearing foundation at all.

It's very hard to get a good finish with this foundation and it doesn't stay put for long either.

I think it must be ok for those with perfect skin and nothing at all to cover. It's also not bad for your skin. It won't leave it irritated or clog pores which is a bonus but you can get much better quality at half the price with other brands.

couldnt wait to hop in the shower and try it.

so i did and coming to do my make up i pumped some on to my hand ooh exciting soo much and started to apply to my face

eeeeeeek.... it covered NOTHING

it ws just as bad as the cheap rimmel stuff i recently tried the stay matte one!!!

so no coverage and stuck with 2 bottles i heard the studio fix is the better product!!!! i will try that one next time!

the numbers and letters also confused me i couldnt just pick light dark medium so i ha dto research about that first. after finally finding my number and shade i dont think it made a difference to it compared on my face! x

Very Orange, matte finish, looks good on camera. Not for fair skin. Comes off easy, cannot feel it on, lightweight. Makes face look thin. Covers blemishes. Lasts up to one year. Good buy. Best foundation I ever used doesn't cake. Great for photos.

Better for darker skin tones. you need glistening gold bits to make your skin glow. I used nc37 foundation in this with nc35 powder it made me glow and glisten great flawless finish on skin.
