Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation

I had forgotten to add this review. Sometimes the foundation goes runny, I bought a bottle from Selfridges that was just horrible. Look below on the letter I emailed to Laurer Mercier and the disapointing responce.

Dear Sirs

I had bought an Oil Free Foundation 29ml bar code 7 36150000866 deep bronzecolor from the Selfridges Store in London UK on the 18/08/09 about 1pm. I am very disappointed to find that the consistency of this product is just likewater. I have shaken it till my arm has ached and still no improvementconsidering the amount of money we spend on your foundations one would liketo think they go through quality checks. Not only that I have to buy twoshades (Toffee bronze and Deep bronze) to get the color to match my skin sothat is at least £60 I spend on just the foundation, and I use your primerand Mineral pressed powder. I am so disappointed that I spend so much moneyon your products and you don't bother to quality check them. This is aninconvenience on my part to go back to the store and get another one, oopshang on a minute, the Deep Bronze I bought was the last one in stock and theSelfridges store does not have another one and if I can't find my receipt Idoubt I'llget my money back (who keeps cosmetic receipts, cosmetics are nonexchangeable). So now I have to wait until they get a delivery of thisproduct. The manager was as helpful as she could be when I spoke to her onthe phone and offered to give me a small tab from your sample bottle and thedifference in the consistency is unbelievable. If it was not the Selfridgesoxford street store I bought the product from I would have said it was animitation of your oil free foundations. Please run your products through quality checks before they are dispatchedto other stores. I can't even find a UK head office number to call andcomplain. I would expect a letter of apology from Laura Mercier managementand I'll be submitting my reviews to the cosmetic review websites. Disappointed Customer

You may have purchased a bottle of foundation that has been on the retailershelves for awhile and the product may be old or has sat under the displaylights and the product has become watery due to the heat of the lights. Thatis why the product seems different from the previous bottles that you havepurchased. Please return the bottle to the retailer where you made your purchased andwait for their new stock. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Really liked Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation but is a little too heavy for summer when a dewy finish looks better

Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation is good overall if you can get a match!

Don't use a sponge, just a small amount and apply with fingers, far better.
