Clinique Superbalanced Makeup SPF12

I have tried so many different foundations (from cheap and cheerful, through to similarly priced (Mac, Prescriptives, Benefit). Goes on well, great coverage, doesn't cake your face, doesn't dry your face out, and your skin practically glows when you've finished. If you're looking for natural coverage then this works brilliantly!

This is the best foundation i have EVER used! So before i review it i'll just show the claims Clinique makes for this makeup on their website... "The smart makeup. This is perfect for me- i have combination skin, and yes, Clinique is right here- it does balance my combination skin. It has a gorgeous dewy finish which i love- so if you like matte stuff then you won't want this. The application is SO easy, its the easiest to apply out of all the Clinique foundations i've tried (Superbalanced, Even Better and Anti Blemish) It has a moderate coverage- you don't need much. It will last you a long time, and its worth the big price tag for that ($50 in australia) Its an awesome product, but tehre is one downer- the bottle. Oh yuck, the bottle. Such a shame. It looks fine, but its so hard to get the foundation out of the bottle! SO HARD! so i suggest you keep the bottle upside down! And when you're getting to your last dregs of foundation, that's it. Yes, you might be able to see a weeks worth of foundation down the bottom of the bottle, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to get out. trust me. i tried everything. but. apart from that its an awesome foundation and looks natural if you use the right amount- let me just add here that it will only be good if you can get it to match your skin colour exactly, otherwise, ewww. But yeah its amazing.

I have only just started using foundation on a daily basis.I brought a cheap brand before what made my skin look oily.After a while i thought i should buy an expensive foundation and i herd good things about this brand.

I went to the clinique counter in a department store and the lady at the counter was very helpful she asked me about what i was looking for in a foundation and picked out the best product for my skin.She then colour matched my skin and i had alabaster.

It is a lot better than cheaper brands its a little dark but still a very good foundation just wish the colour was a little bit lighter,However i have to say bar the colour being a fraction too dark its fantastic.

Clinique Superbalanced Makeup SPF12. This is good for you if you have clear skin, but are prone to sensitive skin. It's very gentle and kind. covers very minor imperfections, kind to skin, smells ok, application is fairly simple

I bought ivory, which i normally get, but it looked very orangey on my skin. I guess it's better suited to darker skinned ladies.

It does blend ok, but as it was orangey it left tide marks =/

Throughout the day i noticed it was wearing off, but it did stay reasonably even through out the day.

I love this foundation. I have tried lots and lots of other foundations by other brands such as Benefit, Rimmel, Mac, Maybelline etc but this is the one i keep coming back to. I recently tried this foundation in compact form but i much prefer it in the liquid, it looks more flawless. But all in all i would definitely recommend this foundation.

Clinique Superbalanced compact makeup is versatile and so convenient. I could not live without this product.

I have been using this product for approximately 2 years now and have been that impressed that I am now unable to stray.

This product is so versaitle for so many reasons.

1. A light application can create a natural look for daytime wear, and a heavier application can increase coverage.

2.A powder can be applied to the face, again providing medium-full coverage (depending on amount applied) and giving a flawless and matte look.

3. It does not run, is easy to apply, does not discolour, plenty of shades to choose from to suit complexion (both pink and beige tinges available in each shade), and lasts more than 8 hours.

4.Comes in a container that also has a mirror (for use during the day), has sponge storage and is easily compact enough to fin in a handbag. In this container, holds the makeup which comes in a refill compact that can be clicked in and out when a refill is required. Therefore, after the product has run out, all that is required is a refill, and the container can be used over and over.

For an even coverage, I would suggest using a foundation brush or even your fingers (this is what i use). I then use CLINIQUE double face powder over the top to set it for the day and to give a higher, matte coverage. Skin looks flawless for the day, yet doesn't look caked on.

I have been using this product for nearly 2 years and i rarely get a pimple. Sometimes i forget to wash my face at the end of the day, and still have a fresh, pimple free face.

I am really dissapointed. I have very dry skin, but after this foundation have to use powder. It makes my face like doll's. Also color is little pinky-yellow.

From time to time, especially near my time of the month, my skin would break out in small blemishes. However, ever since using the Clinique Superbalanced Makeup SPF12 foundation regularly, blemishes are no longer a problem It's only when I stopped using it that they come back!!! This is due to it absorbing excessive oil that causes breakouts! All I can say is that it definitely works!

Not only this, but I suffer from skin that is sensitive and patchy. I often get redness across my nose and chin. I think this has something to do with living near the lake district (UK) and my skin being tormented by all the bad weather!! However, this foundation manages to cover all the redness up without looking caked on, giving me a natural flawless look.

I'd give Clinique Superbalanced a 10 if I've tried many more other foundations out there.But this is absolutely miracle!Not only it gives moderate coverage(neither too light nor too heavy),it also makes skin look luminous(must-have as i've many late nights!).It balances my combination skin(oil-free is always great on the T-zone!)and covers imperfections so well(i've got redness around the sides of my nose and it is the only thing that works!)that i feel like a million-dollars-movie-star!A little goes a long way and my bottle still looks the same as it did 6months ago!
