I Had Have Tried Many Other Eyelashes Over The Yea
I had have tried many other eyelashes over the years, but i hadn't tried MAC. I bought mine from Harvey Nichols, and also bought the adhesive glue as well. I was using the eyelashes for a night out, so i was hoping for them to be pretty dramatic.
From past experience i find that if you place the eyelash up to your lash line, then you can tell if the eyelashes need trimming down. Also starting from the outside in also helps as you don't want the inner end to be stabbing your eye when you blink.
I found that applying the eyelashes, curling them against my natural eyelashes and placing a coat of mascara on them still didn't give them the volume i had hoped for.
Although they were a reasonable price of £7.50, i would only ever use these eyelashes again during the day, which i don't normally do.
Hope this helps everyone.

My First Pair Of False Eyelashes Were The Mac 4 La
My first pair of false eyelashes were the Mac 4 Lash. I was recommended Mac eyelashes by a friend who swore by them to wear on nights out. I purchased them from Selfridges and the assistant who served me recommended I try the 4 Lash as they are quite natural looking and as I had never worn them before, were good to start off with to decide if I liked them or not. I thought the price was OK at £7.50 as they seemed good quality and are handmade. I also liked the fact that you can get up to 5 applications from them before having to purchase some more. The only thing I would say regarding the price is that if you have to purchase the eyelash adhesive (called Duo) this is £7.50 aswell so it can end up quite pricey. The tube of glue is quite big though and will probably last me ages. I was quite apprehensive about trying them at first as I wasn't sure how to apply them. The assistant recommend I put some glue on an ear bud, spread it on the eyelashes and then apply. It took me quite a few attempts because the eyelashes need to be placed right above the lash line and it is quite fiddly. Later my friend told me that she uses tweezers to apply hers which is a good idea. The actual eyelashes themselves looked great but I was slightly disappointed, only because I have long lashes naturally so the false lashes were the same length. I think I was expecting a more dramatic effect and my friends could only notice when they looked up close. I also tried to apply eyeliner to my top eyelid but they kept coming unstuck so I gave up. I think this was because of the amount of times I had stuck and unstuck them though! It would be interesting to hear the results of these from someone with shorter lashes because they do look really natural. I think the plus point for me is that they are natural enough to wear during the day for say, attending a function etc. They did make my eyelashes look fuller, just not as long as I'd have hoped and they stayed put all night, even when I got in at 4am after dancing in a very hot nightclub! Overall, I think Mac 4 Lash are good value for money and I would buy Mac eyelashes again although next time I will purchase a more dramatic pair.
