I Wear Liquid Eyeliner Everyday, But I Have Sensit

I wear liquid eyeliner everyday, but I have sensitive eyes so I am limited as to what brands I can use. I previously used YSL liquid eyeliner with great results but after a few years of using that product I became allergic to it and had to search for an alternative. I tried a lot of other brands such as, Clarins, Clinique, E. Lauder and others but none of them proved successful. Eventually I tried Chanel and came across their criture de Chanel automatic eyeliner pen. I found it relatively easy to apply, the liquid was not too thick or 'gloupy'. It took less time to get the finished results than with other traditional brush applicator eyeliners. I also liked the fact that I could buy it in a few different colours for example, Chanel's metallic grey rather than always being restricted to traditional matt black eyeliner. However, although I persisted in using this product for a few years given that it caused no eye irritation and was the best I had tried, it did have various drawbacks based I think on the consistency of the liquid. One drawback is that the liquid is not thick enough to apply in just one line, so you have to build up a few layers of the product before getting the required opaque eyeliner result. However, to achieve this you have to stop and start whilst applying it in order to let it dry a little each time, otherwise you find that if you apply one layer over another whilst it is still wet, the product comes off again. The other drawback is that the brush is not that fine, so it might create a slightly thicker line than you want. However, the worst aspect of this product is the overall performance throughout the day - as someone who likes to apply their eyeliner in the morning go to work, get on with their day and not have to worry about it, this eyeliner tended to crack and crumble off. Attempts to re-apply the eyeliner later in the day, to patch up the areas that crumble off, are tricky as re-applying fresh wet eyeliner liquid over already cracked and dried eyeliner you run the risk of it coming off even more. So all in all, although I loved the metallic grey colour and the slightly quicker application time, I had to stop using this product as the poor performance in its cracking and peeling made it very impractical. I couldn't recommend this product if you want an eyeliner that will take you right through the day. To my mind life's too short for constantly having to re-apply eye make-up or being aware as you go on with your day that it is peeling off.

I Am Very Happy With This Product As I Found It No

I am very happy with this product as i found it not to be a thick, globby, cheap eyeliner that needs to be applied with a bushy brush! I got precise, clean lines from this fabulous pen! A little pricey, but I feel its worth it!

Trustworthy Chanel Never Disappoints. Okay, So Cha

Trustworthy Chanel never disappoints. Okay, so Chanel Ecriture de Chanel Auto Liquid Eyeliner might cost more than any of your make-up products, but shouldn't your eye-liner be one of the most important ones? Great applicator, does not smear when you blink or touch it, and comes off like any other eye product. This one is new, but I have already spent $500 on other eyeliners... time to find the ultimate keeper!

I Have Tried 6 (yes, Six) Different Liquid Eyeline

I have tried 6 (yes, six) different liquid eyeliners. Lancome, Clinique, Clarins, Mary Kay and Kiss Me. Ecriture de Chanel is the most expensive, but it truly is the best. Not heavy, smooth application. Precision lines everytime. I am trying to tell everyone about it.
