The Double Ended Boots No7 Calm & Conceal Dual End

The double ended Boots No7 Calm & Conceal Dual Ended Blemish Stick in my oppinion is a product worth having. The conealer has an application stick attatched and suites any skin tone. Calms blemishes with a quick application of the roll on liquid. The rednesses goes and the blemish goes noticibly down.

Boots No7 Calm And Conceal Dual Ended Blemish Stic

Boots No7 Calm and Conceal Dual Ended Blemish Stick really helped cover up any blemishes and you are unable to tell that you are wearing any concealer.

The price may be a bit steep for some I believe it is £8 or there abouts, but it is well worth it

Definitely give it a go it is great for covering any noticeable marks or blemishes. I recommend this to anyone who is suffering from blemishes or acne as it really helps conceal and reduce blemishes. Blemishes also do not occur as often and are reduced in size if you use this product.

The concealer bit is ok, just need a little bit. Easy to control with the little wand.

Disappointed with this product. The calming spot treatment side - took ages to dry and didn't calm down my blemish at all.

Boots No7 Is Now Considered Just As Good As All Th

Boots No7 is now considered just as good as all the major designer cosmetic brands. Since it launched in 1935, with only 11 products in its range, No7 has gone through many changes, from logo, colour and design, to the products it offers.

Now celebrating 70 years in the industry, No7 has a great look, and over 290 products for us all to try.

On a resent trip to my local boots I decided to have a look at the No7 counter. Seeing as they had an offer of 3 for 2 I decided to pick up a few products. One of the products I decided to try was the Calm & Conceal Dual ended blemish stick.

---THE PRODUCT ---

Cost = £7.50

Product description = "As soon as you feel a blemish, roll on clear solution, let it dry and then add a little concealer"

** Hypo allergenic

** Fragrance free

On getting the product out of the box, I wasn't too impressed with the size. The stick is spilt in two, one end is concealer the other is a clear substance that helps with blemishes. In the centre of the two is the No7 logo on a gold background. There is no real smell to either the concealer or the clear solution. The concealer is a nice creamy thick consistency.

The instructions state for you to first apply the blemish treatment to the affected area, wait until it has dried, and then cover with the concealer. I first used the product when I could feel one of those dreaded blind spots on my chin. I did as instructed; applying the blemish treatment, which is applied to the skin with one of those balls in the end of the tube, like what you get in some perfume samples. I waited for it to dry and then applied the concealer. This was easily smoothed into my skin. I then did my normal make up over the top.

Throughout the day I could feel this spot getting bigger, as though it had arms waving at people saying "hey look at me!" On looking in the mirror at midday, I was horrified to find my chin looking red around the area with the spot.

At the night, after taken my make up off, the spot had got more red and swollen, and was a lot worse than it was before I used the product. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, and not having any real problems with No7 products before, I tried it again the next day. I'm afraid to say it did nothing the next day, nor did it do anything on the other blemish I felt popping up on my face in the last couple of weeks.

The concealer was quite good at taking the redness away from the blemish, but this ran out quickly as you only got half the normal size.

--- OVERALL ---

Maybe it's too much to ask for, a product that actually does stop a spot in its tracks. I really thought this would work, or at least help my occasional blemish problem. The truth is I was very disappointed with the product.

First of all the size I feel could be a little bigger; for the price you are paying I feel a little more product wouldn't go a miss. Then secondly, the product did not to as it stated; it did not stop any of my blemishes in their tracks, and on around three of them, it made them look 10 times worse.

The concealer was good at covering up, but I think next time I will just buy the concealer on its own instead of it being in a dual ended blemish stick!
