Oh my god, this woman gave me the stress of my life and wasn’t even once apologetic about it. All she cares about how to drag more money from people for the same treatments and very soon. She advertises on both groupon and Wowcher for 1ml filler and the price that is on it is not the price you end up paying when you get to see her. Om my appointment day, She straightaway strongly advised me to pay more for juvederm in her words “best grade fillers” if i want to see the effect otherwise she would inject a decorier filler (which I’ve never heard of) and in her words is worthless. (So kinda trapped into buying juvederm) She also made me buy an expensive special lip balm to keep the plumpness, “otherwise it won’t last”. So I bought all she suggested in order to have a full effect. However, all I got was a week and a half of a swollen plumbed lips,which is normal, but then back to my original lips with an ugly bump/plumpness only on my upper lip border line and even slightly above. I have had 1ml juvederm fillers couple of times in the past with different doctors and they all lasted 10 month and the last one has even lasted me 12 month as I am doing it frequently now. I booked a follow up appointment with the clinic in Harley street which she rents a room in every Friday. I told her everything and even showed her my instagram account where I uploaded my before and after pics and when it was swollen. First she was trying to convince me that this is how it should be, but after me claiming of being experienced in having this procedures and showing the pics to her, she suggested another 1ml juvederm even better grade for half price down from £350 as a gesture of will. I said that I don’t want any more injections, i was always happy with just 1ml juvederm and I want my money worth treatment. She said she will inject different juvederm this time which is more volumising. I asked; “so why didn’t I get that at first place as promised?” and her reply was that it’s meant to be for cheeks really and it would blust the lips you can imagine my face. Why would I want to do this to my lips? After seeing my panic, she admitted that she actually wouldn’t use that one, but will use a better grade juvederm. I’ve just said, “I’m not happy with my first treatment and what makes you think that I would do the same mistake. It’s obvious to me and all my friends and family that your injection has gone to a place it shouldn’t have and thus no difference on my lips. In fact, it went even flatter, cause of the plumpness above my lips.” Long story short I have requested a correction which is to dilute the filler and refund my money. She has rejected both, saying that she cannot dilute lip fillers and nor she wishes to refund any money and if I won’t pay her for more fillers, she can’t help. I was so devastated, disappointed and dissatisfied. Since then, I have had few consultations with real doctors (not nurse) and they also admitted that because the filler was injected wrong, it gave no volume to the lip but only above it and it looked really ugly. I ve also developed 2 small bumps on my lips which wasn’t looking nice too. I had to complain to her firm in Sunningdale and only after few attempts they have come back to me saying Sharmi is totally capable of diluting the fillers just make an appointment which I did. However, it was a trick from them to convince me again to buy more fillers. Sharmi said again that She won’t and can’t dilute the filler, the only way rectifying this is to inject more and she assured me that “i promise I’ll inject it from a different angle and give u what you want” so i thought what was all this about and why she didn’t do it at first place? And why have I been played like this? Been requested to come to dilute but then been rejected. I have waisted a lot these weeks because of sharmi and trying to sort this out. She didn’t even care how I felt and her way of rectifying things is to sell more fillers. Regards to the two bumps I had, she needled/squeezed them hard, but I still have them so, don’t know how she squeezed them and now I don’t know how to get rid of them. Last time when I spoke to her, she put the phone down on me and I don’t know what to do. I have never experienced anything like that in my life and after all this stress, I still have to get rid of the bumps, dilute my filler and have fillers again. Sharmi gave a damage to my health by stressing me, waisted my time and of course financially.

I went here to have Botox for the first time. The lady was very pleasant and professional. It was only after the procedure that I realised how inefficient and unprofessional she actually was.

After the procedure I told her that I had a spin class within the next 12 hrs and asked if that was ok and she said it was fine. I then read online that any high impact exercise should me avoided for at least 24 hrs otherwise the botox could move and make drooping eye lids.

I also told her before the treatment that I had a spa day booked and asked if that would be ok. She said it would be no problem. As I left and got in the car I thought to myself that I had better check again so I went back in and asked again and she said 'oh no you can't have a facial, or sit in a sauna'. I told her that I had already booked this, it was the first time I had off in a year after having a baby. She told me that it was fine to have the facial as long as they only massaged half my face?!?!?.

She left me with a forehead that was wrinkle free in the centre but with wrinkles on each side. It looks really strange. I went back to show her as I was so unhappy and she couldn't have got me out of there quick enough. At first she said she couldn't do the sides as my eye may droop. Then she said I would need filler for another £150 and then she said she could put more botox in the sides but only the next time I had a paid session. I then said 'but I thought you said I couldn't as my eye would droop' and she said 'well maybe we can do it and it will be fine’.

I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH that you should avoid this salon and woman.

I went to Sharmi Joseph Sunningdale 6th February 2015 to have lip filler. I had .o5ml and let me tell you that the pain while the procedure is taking place is immense and she is very rough. I was left with a terrible bruise which is still apparent on my face and I am typing this review 11 days after my visit. I called and told her but she just pointed out that I had signed the DISCLAIMER!!!!!

I have been having botox and filler injections for several years at Sharmi's Henley Salon. Altogether a pleasant experience, she is a very charming person and very skilled practioner. The results were as good as you can get without expecting miracles. I cannot believe some of the very unkind comments people have made. PJG

I am in my early 60's and have been going to Sharmi Joseph for years for Botox and fillers and am delighted with the results I have had.

I only looked on this site for the telephone number and was horrified to read the scandalous reports on here.

Although I had a slight bruise after one particular session, I was given ice and arnica to reduce the mark.

The treatments I have had have lasted for over a year each time and I'm going back for more next week.

The only way is to go and find out what good treatment you receive is to go and try for yourself. Express your concerns and I'm sure you will be treated well, reassured and happy with the results.

I had them done before 0.5 from somewhere else and the previous lady knew what she was doing

She put half in the top half at the bottom with numbing cream so it

I had had a facial the week before at a different clinic & to be honest the 2 experiences were as different as chalk & cheese, I arrived at Sharmi Joseph but although I pressed the buzzer 3 times to gain entry - no one answered, I waited about 8 minutes called their number - voice-mail - left a msg that I was out side. The Reception area was quite nice (& warm) the route to the treatment room up stairs had what was once a cream carpet - it was filthy, the treatment room had NO ambiance at all, the room was chilly & through my treatment of 1.5hrs the only sounds were that of a very noisy whirring fan heater (that was clearly not doing its job) & the 'tick tick' of what I later discovered to be the timer on the facial steamer - there were no soft tunes to conceal these annoying sounds. The products used must have been kept in a freezer, they were like ice & I started to dread each application, honestly it is the very first time I would have just liked to escape & leave half way through but felt obliged to stay to the end. Upon dressing at the nd I noticed 2 A4 notices on the door advising the beauticians to 'up-sell' & remember to never talk about yourself but to always ask the customer - where - when - why - to make them feel special - sadly there is a lot more to making a client feel special & Sharmi Joseph offered none, I left more stressed than when I arrived - hugely dissapointed.

I bought a Groupon deal for 89 pounds to remove a skin tag at this clinic . However after five minutes meeting "consultation" with who ever her name is Sharmi Joseph I realized that what I'm putting my self in. She claimed that my skin tag is larger than what the offer is about and that she has to charge me an additional hundred of pounds. She even lied in my face that it is a mole despite my GP referred to it as a skin tag.

She kept the cost unfixed just to collect some money claiming that the board of directors will not be happy if I dont proceed with the treatment otherwise I will loose the voucher. I challenged her that the voucher did not mention about the size and that she troubled me to travel from Kent being mislead by her offer. She said that it meant to introduce her clinic to the public only and they forgot to write "size does matter" !!

Seriously, the Trading Standards must interfere in this and get everyone affected some compensation. I will contact Groupon to request a refund immediately.

Please be careful everyone and to the couple of people who wrote positive comments on her, are you real patients or just the fake Sharmi herself !?

Avoid at all costs, I am not even sure she has any medical qualifications. Sharmi tries to be charming in order to close a business consultation but lacks any desire once you've been lightened of your hard earnt Cash.
