Nail Gem based by leasowe train station, perfect location, lovely signage outside and local.

Everything is working for this salon, unfortunatly they didn't count on a qualified beauty therapist visiting their salon.

I originally visited the salon a few years ago as an trainee therapist for and ebt/ebs and false lash inserts. Leaving the salon a few years ago and knowing little about the beauty industry i thought it was amazing and brilliant value for money. The lashes fell out within a week even though i had taken full care of them and being nieve thought this was normal.

It was only when i visited a few weeks ago i realised i hade been had. I decided to book in for a hollywood, leg wax, eyebrow shape and tint. The therapist arrived with Uggs and a cardigan on over her uniform, highly unprofesional, her hair was also down. When it came down to the waxing She never kept my skin taut and got the wax stuck 9 times out of 10, this is the therapists fault only. I left with servere bruising on my legs and intimate area, ontop of blisters and as a result ingrown hairs and discomfort to this day. To make it worse she had missed out a few patches of hair!!

She took off too much of my eyebrows and covered this fault with the darkest tint she could find so i only realised a few days later, as a senior therapist was carrying out the treatment i definatly did not expect this lack of quality.

The salon is lovely in itself and has alot of potential but the therapists are unqualified and definatly need further training in all areas especially profesional ethics and personal hygiene! It won't be long until they find a law suit on their doorstep! I will NEVER be returning!
