Imarni, Edinburgh

I had been going to Imarni for about a year and primarily used the salon for eyebrow waxing and found out of all the salons I had tried in Edinburgh it was the best for eyebrow waxing. It was the first salon I had gone to where they had used hot wax which ensures a pain free experience which is always a bonus. On my last visit I was seen by a new therapist who had never done any treatments on me before. She was not very nice at all, she made not very nice comments which was very off putting and then when I got back home and had a closer look at my eyebrows she had missed the majority of my eyebrow hairs! Obviously I was very annoyed so I phoned the next day and wanted to speak to the manager but she wasn't in so someone left me a voicemail and said they could deal with my enquiry or I could just email them. I decided to email them and i am still waiting for a response. I have not been back and I don't intend to, I am not the type of person to moan about something and then not complain. On all my visits to Imarni I never had any problems, I even had a shellac manicure done there and it was the best manicure I had ever received. Its such a shame but I can't really excuse the fact that I made two attempts to contact them with no response and the fact that the therapist was rude to me on a personal level.

I got a brazilian wax. Pleasant, thorough, friendly, and virtually painless. i will be going back regularly, and would consider other treatments at Imarnis as well.

Imarni is a great wee beauty salon, just 2 minutes walk from Haymarket train station, and less than 10 minutes walk from the City Centre.

The Salon is spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The staff are very friendly, and you are always greeted with a warm smile (and the offer of a coffee). All the staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional, and only too happy to advise or answer queries.

Imarni specialises in a wide range of services, these include: Facial and body therapies, Ionithermie, Manicure and Pedicures, Eye treatments, Hair Removal (waxing, electrolysis etc), Tooth Whitening, Spray Tanning and Professional Make-up. They use, amongst others, Environ, Phytomer and Jane Iredale products. (Jane Iredale make-up is the best I've come across for sensitive skin)!

I now go regularly and have my legs waxed, but I have also had my nails done, and even had a spray tan once.
