I've been to Aroma many times & the girls are lovely and very professional. All treatments are done to a very high standard. The salon is beautiful and you are always guaranteed to leave feeling relaxed and fully satisfied. I've also bought vouchers in the past and I feel that 6 months is defiantly long enough.

Unable to get an appointment at my local, I came here for a wax for the first time. The salon itself is well kitted out, although the employees spent their whole time chatting to one another. Yes this gives a nice friendly atmosphere, but not while I had to wait to be treated after another customer rather than at the same time by one of these busy nattering away girls. I wasn't the only client waiting to be seen as well. The treatment itself was good, however I was surprised to find hair re growth only four days later. I'm no hair expert, but I have experience with waxing treatments and I've never known this before which makes me point the finger to this new salon I've tried. I expect something to do with the technique of removing the wax strip?

This aside, as I went to pay I was surprised to be charged considerably more than the extaushinate price that was on the website. Having to leave in a rush due to the initial delay, I didn't have the chance to ask the manager about this. Meanwhile the staff were enjoying their gossip with one another. Overall not worth anyway near the price, and I'd rather go a couple more hairy days and get to my trustee Regualr than rush into this "all gear, no idea" buisness.

As a birthday present, my husband gave me a voucher worth £60 for a massage at Aroma. What an unfortunate choice of a present. The voucher only had a 6 month limit (which is surprising considering it is only a small local salon and most of the other local salons have a 12 month limit). I had been unwell and couldn't use the voucher within the allocated time. I called into the salon a couple of weeks past the 6 month limit and asked to book an appointment. There were no other bookings and the beautician was free and there was no-one else in the salon or booked in for a treatment so I asked to use the voucher. I explained that I had not been able to use it before because of my circumstances and asked for some flexibility. The beautician and owner refused to honour the voucher explaining that they couldn't alter the "system". I was on talking terms with the owner and had been invited to promotional events, but she still did not have the goodwill or good business sense to honour the voucher. I hope she is pleased with herself for promoting her business so well and that she enjoys the £60 my husband effectively donated to her salon. I have not and do not ever intend to go there again. They are only interested in your money and not looking after their clients. Go to Good Looks in Blackheath instead - lovely staff and much more loyal.

Have had a deluxe pedicure and facial at Aroma Beauty Rooms. Both are listed as 60 min treatments but were considerably shorter. My deluxe pedicure was 35mins and there wasn't anything that really resembled a foot massage so until I went to pay thought I'd been given the standard pedicure. Paint job wasn't great so overall wouldn't recommend this treatment. Had I had a decent foot massage and not had the time shortened by almost half the advertised, it might have been a different story.

The facial was very relaxing and I would have recommended had it not been 15mins shorter than advertised. Lights are dimmed, relaxing music, no talking (I do kind of like to know what they are doing and think it can still be relaxing with the occasional "I'm about to.....").

Neck massage part was really good, and overall I really liked it, but I don't expect a 45min treatment when it's supposed to be 60mins.

Never had such shortened times in a beauty salon before (and been to many) so personally wouldn't go back or recommend because of this.

Aroma Beauty Rooms is a wonderful salon. The girls are so attentive. You really get spoilt in a West End quality salon but for local prices. The capuccino is spot on too! The big pedicure chairs are a must!
