Initially I was treated well at Skn Clinics in Manchester with laser tattoo removal. However it turned out I was lied to. When I phoned prospectively I was told "our treatments are done by doctors, the other companies just use trained nurses." I was never seen by a doctor.

My third visit there was different to the rest. It was the last appointment on a Sunday and clearly the nurse was in a rush to leave. The treatment was so rushed it was utterly pointless. Usually the treated area would blister wholly. This time, a few tiny blisters. I cancelled my next appointment and asked for a refund of what I was owed. I was told I could not have it without going there again for a consultation! Fond of protocol I decided to do that. I arranged an appointment, turned up, waited for 20 minutes, asked if I was going to wait much longer because I was busy and was told that I have no appointment. Now they were just messing me around.

They also told me "it doesn't always blister the same." Sorry I'm not an idiot, skin doesn't learn.

To add insult to injury I then received a spam text message offering me 30% off laser hair removal! I did not opt in to receive that.

Do not go there. I suspected that paying extra would get me a more professional service and I believed them when they told me they use doctors not nurses.
