I've tried cheap and expensive products. Phyto Phytocedrat shampoo is the best I've tried recently at solving greasy roots & dry ends. I've only had to wash my hair every 3rd day instead of every day, which means I don't have to blow dry my hair so much - a bonus in my book!
I think Phytocedrat is a great product for removing the build up of oily residue on the scalp, and it leaves the hair feeling less weighed down and softer to touch.

Phyto Phytocedrat is Excellent at rebalancing a sensitive scalp and dry ends. Hair feels softer, clean and back in great, shiny condition. It is specifically aimed at greasy roots and dry ends and aims to rebalance sebum levels. It has done that. I was losing a lot of hair before use and my scalp was so sensitive, to the extent pulling a comb through was painful. But this seems to have healed that. It leaves hair feeling clean but not stripped and dry. Hair smells great, especially if you use the accompanying conditioner which has cocoa butter and shea butter. Hair feels clean, soft and in great condition.
