You know Dove has all those commercials? Do you know what is really the truth? Dove tests their soap and shampoo on animals before selling the finished product. Do you really want to buy a product tested on animals? Think of your pet in that position.

Another soap giant - Lever Brothers (now Unilever) with an eye for our personal-care dollars. At least they're not as bad as P&G (yet). I've used a couple of the Dove shampoos (volume, pro-age), and they do a fair job of getting the hair clean without leaving it dry/frizzy or greasy/sticky. But again, they use silicone in many of their products, and I have a scalp problem with silicone (I get scalp eruptions - pimples when I use them, as I'm sure many people do. so, I can only try the shampoos.
