I first went to Viniger hill and met the fabulous hairdresser after giving myself a disastrous haircut that actually involved clippers! He had next to nothing to work with,but work. he. did .and I knew I had finally found the "one" The kind off place every girl needs we talk about more than just holidays ! I always leave feeling and most importantly looking gorgeous and looking forward to my next appointment.

My daughter went to this salon on the 8.11and her experience has left a lot to be desired. She showed him pictures of what she wanted which he dismissed as blurred, they are not. She asked him mot to touch her fringe as she wanted it left at the length it was, she has a fringed that has been cut, layered, and thinned to with in an inch of its life. There are really short bits in totally random places. He told her she had dull lifeless hair with a weird, difficult hairline. Something every 17yr old girl wants to hea. She now won't leave the house without a hat on and it is going to take months for it to start growing out.

Would never recommend this place to anyone. He was abrupt, rude, and did not listen to my daughter even when she asked him to not go any shorter.

I went there to get my haircut and it was brilliant the hospitality is fantastic and the staff are great I would defiantly go there again and would happily recommend this to anyone who wants brilliant haircut/dye just all round great place they make you feel so welcome

Had my haircut on Saturday i didn't have a appointment but they made me feel very welcome whilst i waited for a space.

Great haircut lovely atmosphere and very fancy cup and saucers, will be coming back in 6 weeks now I've found my new hairdressers.

I was recommended here by a friend after struggling to find a suitable salon, I was very nervous but quickly felt at ease as all the staff very friendly, definatly would recommend excellent experience

I treated my granddaughter to a visit to my hairdresser which I have up till recently been very happy with,but I have to say disappointed on last two visits. She was booked in to have wash,cut and dry,she was there just under 30 minutes and had wash and cut,no attempt to dry her hair,they just assumed that what she got was was she wanted she is eleven years old and should have been consulted and asked if what she ended up with was what she wanted she was very disappointed and upset needless to say we shall not be returning

I came to Vinegar Hill upon a friends recommendation and after struggling to find time to travel 40m to my usual hairdresser. What a huge mistake I made.

I advised when I went in that I am growing my hair for my wedding in 9m and that I wanted as little as possible off the length with a trim to tidy it up. What proceeded was a complete restyle whereby Rebecca cut into my hair creating unwanted layers and uneven lengths. The front of my hair that I am growing out to the same length as the rest of my hair has also been hacked off and is now atleast 3 inches shorter. I dont understand how and ehy i got a restyle and my hair is a completely different shape when I asked for a trim. Clearly Rebecca doesn't listen. This is upsetting as not only have I spent over a year growing my hair into the style I want realising that has now been ruined because my wedding is now only 9m away and my hair is not going to look anything like I had hoped but because the restyled hair cut isn't even any good. The layers are uneven, there are chunks of hair that don't sit right and the front of my hair is different lengths on either side. Had I asked for this cut I would still have been disappointed and upset.

Do far I have only mentioned the cut, needles to say the colour equally upset me and was not what I asked for. A natural highlighted look is now a stripey zebra look with a yellowy colour to my blonde hair rather than the ash I had asked for. Thankfully this can be rectified by my usual hairdresser the cut can't.

Finally the last thing that angered me in my visit was that no card payments are accepted. Why is a modem day salon cash only? Firstly, my hair cost £70 I don't know many people that carry that much cash? Secondly why was I not pre warned so I could bring cash with me, instead I had to walk to and from the cash machine after my appoinrntment when I was I a rush (understandably) to leave. Thirdly, why no card payments? Personally I think businesses that deal in cash only are likely to not be putting everything through the books... Had I known this I think I would have had a different opinion before going in.

Went on with my daughter every one was telling me what a great hairdressers this was thought we would give it a try never again I got a man and my daughter got a girl I knew as soon as he started to cut my hair it was going to be wrong all wrong I'm not good at complaining so he just carried on all I wanted to do was cry however my daughters was good lucky for her I cried for two days and had it done again at another salon and. It it ok now so if you dare go there don't let him anywhere near you I paid 29 -50 for my cut I was robbed never again don't ever go there I would reall like my money back but as I said I'm not good at complaining

After reading some of the reviews was a little apprehensive. Today I can honestly say that I didn't just have my hair cut I had a really fun time. The staff starting with Paul really made me feel comfortable and the head massage was soooooooooooo relaxing. I was then introduced to Rebecca (stylist) and she really listened to what I wanted and gave advice but not so that I felt as though I didn't have a say. I have been going to the same hairdresser for a long time and really wanted a change - I can honestly say Vinegar Hill will be having my custom for a long time. Thankyou. See you soon.

Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for 4pm on a fri reaqdy for a 30th party and my daughters party on the sunday. Left work early and sat in 30 minns of traffic to get there to find it closed with no phone call or attempt to contact me to cancel my appointment. Left on a fri eve with bad hair for 2 parties. Very annoyed and not even the facillity to leave and answer machine message! Probably for the best.
