I started working in Ford. I needed a haircut and went Vega Hair styling. It was written 10gbp in front of the entrance. He said that we are busy and come tomorrow by an reservation. I went there tomorrow Before haircut I showed him very clear two photos of my previous haircut and he said clear and I will do the same. However he completely cut my hair terrible, not same not similar, it was the worst haircut in my life. Although I didn't like, I took off 10gbp but he said 15,5gbp, and he said 10 pound is only by walking not by an reservation. He is also completely cheater(small ~40 years old guy). I asked him you requested that I should reserve for tomorrow. He threatened that he will call police, I didn't want to loose my time with this person, so I wrote this review. DON'T GO THERE...

Being with the same salon near 10 years has advantages however; the experience I had at Vega Hair Design was well worth the risk. I'm a natural blond but I switched to the most unstable hair color on the chart which is RED. So you can imagine the FUD factor of trusting my locks to another hair studio or franchise and winding up with some faded version of "coffee shop crimson" days later.

Having lived in Brentwood for many years and tried a large number of its ever changing and often moody hairdressers, Vega has stood the test of time and stands out as something special and well worth a visit. Unlike the corporate chains and short-lived high street shops it attracts a loyal customer base which includes many newcomers and those who have moved away. Its appeal for me is down to the skills and genuinely warm welcome offered by its owner and colleagues. Uniquelly it is now becoming a Brentwood institution as it is also a popular place for local artists to display their work. Top tip: Park like I do for free very nearby at Brentwood station (past the taxi rank for a couple of hours).

I have only been to Vega twice, and already I feel like I am a long standing client of theirs. They make me feel like I'm their number one customer. On my first visit I really wanted colour, but I did not want to chance it, as I have had some bad experiences at hairdressing salons before, so I opted for a cut & blow. I was so impressed with my new style that I made an appointment for my colour as I left. I recommended Vega to my mother. She has not been to a hairdressers for some time, as chemotherapy treatment has left her with little hair, and understandably, she does not want to feel on show in salons. When I told her that Vega have a private styling room, she decided to give them a try. She has since been back, and she enjoys the whole pampering experience.
