I have had Mags quite a number of times and the hair styling has always been very thorough. She knows how exactly I want my hair without me even asking now. There is always the right amount of professionalism and friendly chat too. There's also very good advice on shampooing and how to look after my hair. Mags recommended Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo and Caffeine Liguid. This really does stimulate and energize the hair, and reduces hair loss.

As well as the service always being a professional and class act, there is always a very friendly atmosphere too and we are always offered coffee, tea or a cool drink. Highly recommended as a salon.

Recommended to me by a friend after my usual barbers was closed and I desperately needed a hair cut, I booked an appointment with the Valet.

Straight from the off the lady on the phone was very polite and helpful and guided me through the booking, and things only got better from there.

After arriving I was offered a drink, the atmosphere was brilliant and the place oozed character and charm. The people were really friendly and the service was above and beyond first class.

They guided me through every step of what they were doing to my style and also suggested tips on how to keep it looking good and how to keep my beard in check.

Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. All their prices are available on their website and a clear explanation of what you will be getting though they will confirm this over the phone for you as well.

Found this place back in february and have been back a couple times since,would be more but i live quite far from the area,always made to feel like a regular and nothing to much trouble for the team.I've had haircuts and hot towels shaves and both have been by far much better than most normal barbers who have put more effort into style than substance inc famous places in the west end and city.

Please make the effort to try this little gem out as i don't normally bother with reviews but feel the Valet both deserve and warrant a little effort on my part.

I have been a customer continuously for about 4 years now, and have not been once let down by the qaulity of the service. For the last two occasions I have had master-stylist Mags who has been both very friendly and utterly professional in her approach. My hair has always been extremely well-groomed after the hair-styling, and I have not even dreamt of going anywhere else. We're always treated as 'people',even friends, and not just as 'customers'. Almost always we are offered a tea or coffee too. Yes, I do know the price before I made the purchase except once when I hadn't known the price went up.

I have also had a facial and about three full-body massages and have been entirely satisfied by these too.

I love coming here, My brother and I get our haircuts by Mags and each time she delivers and gives us amazing haircuts. Hard to find places where you feel comfortable and able to relax all the time. I work past the shop every day and each day it is always busy!

I was bought a voucher by my husband for my birthday. I was a bit apprehensive about going to a male orientated barbers, but I needn't have worried. I was taken through to the well appointed treatment area and greeted by my therapist who was very welcoming and put me at ease. She discussed with me what I would like to get out of the treatment before we began - relaxation and to get rid of tension from my shoulders and back.

I didn't feel as though I had to make unnecessary small talk and my therapist was really good at spending time on my tense areas. As a result I left feeling really relaxed and ready to take on the world. This was money well spent.

The Valet have now added treatment rooms where massages, pedicures and waxing and other fancy stuff take place. Went there today for a treatment I've had on many occasions before in London centres, not really knowing what to expect. Well it was absolutely great, felt really well looked after and the care and professionalism was the best I've known. Plus it was cheaper and more local, so simply superb! Steve

The Valet is so much more than a barbers or a hairdressing - it is a whole experience and a great one! Immediately I walked in I was greeted by a mixture of professionalism and friendliness. The best haircut I have ever had has been there. Am also courteously offered a coffee or other drink. Both my usual stylist and another one I've had gave great attention to detail and got to know exactly how I'd like my hair. On a recent visit I found Emine to be extremely charming and friendly, and I bought a couple of products too. A business that Croydon can be proud to have. Look forward to the wet towel shave experience too. Can recommend without reservation The Valet to anyone!
