I have never had such a bad experience in my life when it comes to visiting a hair salon. I was served by a youngish chap who seemed to lack experience. I went in for a simple cut and blow- dry and let's just say I had to re-wash my hair when I got home ( which also meant I had to straighten it again as I was meant to have this done for a party in the evening). He didn't do underneath my head when he washed my hair, just over the top and the sides. When I returned to home I could feel it was still greasy at the back. He was very rough on my hair when it came to blow drying and the way he cut my fringe? He cut it way too short,blunt and uneven. Luckily I have experience with styling my own fringe so I had to even it and feather it out when I got home. Still waiting for it go grow though. I was gutted that I had to go to this party with a boff looking short fringe. I felt tearful after that experience and I really needed to share it. Plus I found the prices are too dear too. If you want to take such a risk yourself, then go ahead. But let me warn you, they seem very amateur.

Worst hair cut I have ever had. Cut by a young man, went down the high street straight to another hair dressers to have it sorted out.

only my second time ever going here and will never go back again. so i ask for a simple trim. left with out my hair even being combed, bangs cut or side of hair being mad even.it took all of 10 minutes star to finish. i see it`s about volume not quality. this place sucks.

Where to begin? For the first time on my life I've come out of a hair salon and burst into tears!

What I wanted was relatively simple, just a half inch trim and a bit of shaping around the front of my face. Despite specifying that I need my hair up for work, I can't get the front half of my hair into a pony tail anymore!

So much more of my hair has come off than I wanted, I don't look or feel like me anymore.

The lady that served me didn't give me her name, but she was so incredibly rude. She kept on and on commenting on how thin my hair is, how I should have let her wash it, how she couldn't cope with a slight wave in it. Then she randomly wandered off and was on the phone for ages!

I'm so angry, this was supposed to be for a special wedding I am going to, I am a visitor to Tewkesbury so don't normally go into this salon but I feel that she's ruined my hair.

I went into the Tewkesbury salon gloucestershire supercuts yesterday and asked for a Bob hair cut and she assured me that it was her specialty. I shown her a picture of how I wanted my hair. It looked good. She said she didn't have time to straighten it a lot. I except a full service from a hair salon.

She styled it to look good.

Now today I'm straighting it how she shown me and she had left a long chunk at the front thatvhasnt been cut! Can't get it fixed til next weekend!

The poster in the window is just a ploy to get customers through the door.

The price for your haircut will be much higher. You will be a rare customer if you actually get charged the price they advertise: Try the £16.95 wash, cut and blow dry. Stylist suggested £46 to me, which then got reduced to £26 and then £19.95 with a haggle!

Ask for a breakdown of costs and you risk a bad haircut.

Expect to be turned away if you ask for just a dry cut, especially if you washed your hair less than 24 hours ago. You must have a wash cut and blow dry. Forget your budget or time constraints - no the price in the window is not really representative of what Super Cuts do.

Expect to be told to keep your feet flat on the floor. Sit still and face the front was I am sure on the tip of her tongue. No, they don't have a card with the salon telephone number on it. They don't know the number, and anyway why do you want it because you can't ring up to make an appointment?

Don't expect the stylist to follow your instructions, repeat the same style or even give the same advice you might have received on a previous visit.

What a terrible way to run a business. Customers deserve to be treated properly.

I'm taking my hard-earned cash elsewhere in future.
