Headquarters, Keswick

In Keswick for a brief visit, saw the reviews and picked Headquarters for a colour and cut. The lady who did both was delightful, helpful and gave me excellent advice on both. All for about a third of what I would have paid back home. Strongly recommended!

This is the place to come for a really good cut. I have short hair and no-one has ever cut it as well as HQ. The colouring treatment is fab too, and their prices are far too low for the quality of their work.

I was looking for somewhere to have my hair done for my wedding. Everywhere is so rediculously over priced. I found headquarters on line, this is a gorgeous little salon tucked away pn a residential street. The ladies are so friendly. My hair trial went well, but there were a couple of changes i wanted for the big day. On my wedding day they went out of their way to accommodate us she came in after re arranging her schedule so that we were all ready on time. Everyone was thrilled with their hair, my hair was just as i wanted it, and it didn't move all day! Value for money! I would recommend the trial as it really helps to get things right on the day.

I was looking for a really good cut that would keep the style without to much attention afterwards. I got exactly what I wanted at the salon and could not have been more pleased. I was seen exactly on time and charged a very reasonable price.

If you are looking for an excellent hair cut in Keswick then try Headquarters. I am so glad I did as she gave me one of the best cuts ever at a very reasonable price. I am fussy about my hair and want the cut to be so good that it can keep the style from shampoo to shampoo. This is what I got and was delighted with the result.

I've been a customer for 2 years and would not think to change a salon. Over that time they have managed to restore my very damaged hair from colouring and straightening. I still colour my hair but I trust their products and skills of mixing colours. Staff is very friendly and professional. They always listen and deliver what you expect. Im getting married this year and they are my first choice to do my hair on the day. I love their style and I know it will last the day and night. Many thanks:)

On 08/10/13 I had an appointment booked for 10am

This was for a special day ( my brothers wedding)

I waited outside until 1020 and the shop was not even open by then.

I had to return to the hotel (in tears) and have my hair done there.

The appointment had been booked for weeks.

So obviously the service I recieved ( or rather, did not recieve) was terrible.

After several years of trying to find someone, anyone capable of cutting my very long, very curly and very thick hair, I finally decided to take the plunge and try another local company. I found several glowing reviews online for HeadQuarters in Keswick, and was delighted when I called to find that they could fit me in the same day. Parking was easy, only 50 yards from the salon, and as soon as I walked in I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Elaine understood immediately what I was after, and amid much laughter and lively banter she gave me what is without doubt the best haircut I have had for years! I had to ask twice when I was told how much it would be, as it was so reasonable and far less than I expected to pay. My fiance loves it, and I feel about 5 years younger! I will definitely be going back and recommending HeadQuarters to all my friends, a really enjoyable experience in every sense.

As someone who has recently moved to the area I needed to find a new hairdresser. I hunted around for details on the web and found the glowing reviews of Headquarters in Keswick and can only agree with them! I am always quite aprehensive about getting my haircut and as a result have pretty much had the same style for the last 30 years - all one length and long, requiring a cut a maximum of 3x a year! However armed with a few pictures of what I was thinking about I received the best haircut of my life yesterday and am thrilled with the results and amazed at the remarkedly reasonable price. So pleased to have found Headquarters and will be returning many times in the future.

I'm a city girl and visited Headquarters while on holiday and got a really great hair makeover after a very expensive and disappointingly fuddy duddy cut at Nikki Clarks. I went in with an open mind and said I just want a complete change. I got a really in depth consultation, colours which wowed and a great cut which just fell into place whenever I did it myself - got really great comments on it at work afterwards. Yeah they may not be a £2m shopfitting salon amd there was a mix of people in but I was surprised by the skill,creativity and professionalism in such a location. And I didn't pay £2m shopfitting price so it was great value. Guess it depends what you want.... city chic shopfittings or experienced hairdressers who clearly know how to be creative if you let them. They used all the same techniques but with a much better result. I'd recommend you give it a go. I go whenever I'm in Keswick - in fact I make the trip whenever I need a hair appointment now.
