Hair1UK are not very proffesional!! waiting for ages and hated my cut

I have been to Hair UK (Manchester - Deansgate) 3 times now, with 3 different stylists, both male and female. Overall I have felt comfortable there, and that my hopes from my hairstyle have been listened to. I'm quite touchy about how my highlights end up because it's quite an eccentric style on a guy and of all the salons in Manchester it's always turned out the best there. I would say I am not absolutely bowled over by the quality of he actual cut afterwards, but colour-wise they are top class.

I found out my old hairdresser had left my usual salon, and so I decided to try out Hair Uk's new salon on St Peters Street. When I entered the salon, I was greeted by the two hairdressers being sat with their mates, all going silent as I enteed. Awful atmosphere. Not listening to my bad instincts, I proceeded to have my hair washed, with very hot water. I wasn't even asked how the temperature was. The girl told me what lovely long hair I had.

I proceeded to the chair at which I told the 22 year old that my hair was a bit dry and I couldn't do much with it, any suggestions?? I emphasized to her how upset I'd been in past due to highlight mistakes etc, hoping she would show she cared. She said I could have my long layers layered a bit more. I said I wanted it long still, so she said she would keep my length. At this stage she again at the back. I could hear her chopping very fast. It was only when she moved to pull the sides of my hair over I saw a big wedge at least 3.5-4 inches in length being chopped off. I was horrified. She chopped so fast without even a style in mind. I said 'stop it's too short!' at which she said,'it's fine, I'm getting rid of the dead hair it will grow faster!!'. I didn't ask her to cut off the dead hair! She hadn't even shown me what she was going to cut off before doing it. It took her 10 mins to cut my hair. My old hairdresser would take 30 mins! It looked horrendous. All different lengths and sticking up everywhere. I've cried all weekend. I'm gutted. It's took me 3 years to grow my hair. I didn't ask to have all that hair cut off. Now I can't have it down it looks so awful. I rang the boss up for a refund. Turns out he's not a hairdresser, but a professional meat butcher!!! That says it all!!
