I visited this salon for the first time for a gentleman's hair cut. I was greeted warmly and despite being busy, I wasn't kept waiting too long.

Derek (who is one of the directors) cut and styled my hair. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice for the care of my somewhat unruly mop. He explained which products would work best with my hair type and went on to trim and style my mop into a real head of hair.

I have never received such excellent service or advice from any other salon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Redford to friends and family.

I'm one of those people that puts off getting a hair cut for as long as possible, however I was happy to book my next appointment there and then.

Whilst not the cheapest salon in Newcastle (nor the most expensive), you do get what you pay for and in this instance I felt that for the service and advice I received, it really was excellent value for money.
