I went to Hair and the city because I got a discount through wowcher. I wasn't expecting the greatest salon ever but the website was profesional, the prices are high and I had to wait two months for an appointment so I thought it must be half decent! but unfortunitly it was a ****hole! like a public toilet complete with cracked mirrors! A nice welcome and I was offered a drink. My hairdresser was 'sarah' and she was very nice and we spoke about what we were going to do with my hair. She gave me a full head of highlights which went well until I was handed over to a young student to wash my hair. He practically ripped the foils out! splashed my face with water! the water was either boiling hot or freezing cold! it was like he had never washed hair before, he didn't have a clue what he was doing! didn't even condition my hair when I had payed £40 for a intensive conditioning treatment! Sarah cut and blow dryed my hair and it did look nice when she was done. The owner 'Jai' was there the whole time and wasn't busy, so I think that he should of been the one welcoming me, should of introduced himself and asked me how I was getting on during my stay. he did none of these things. I would of given him this feedback if I thought that he gave a ****, but I don't think he does so I havn't!

Overall sarah was nice but everything else was not! Oh and the toilet is outside! and theres no sink!!!
