The wolverhampton salon has the worst customer service I have ever seen.

They ruined my hair and The manager has no people skills and the stylists do not know how to cut hair. Never go to this salon

After many years of going to Franchescos, I always felt comfortable and relaxed knowing I was in good hands, however only a few months ago all this changed. I decided to try a new stylist who was new to Franchescos Wolverhampton.

He started by asking me what I wanted, washed my hair and started the process of cutting my waist length hair. The first step was to place a middle parting, twice I had to tell him it wasn’t straight, and even when he finally got it, it still wasn’t straight. He decided he wanted to give me a different type of layering which resulted in a big 2.5 inch gap between my last layers. My hair wasn’t dried properly and was left frizzy at the top. The attitude of this hairdresser was terrible, only he seemed to know best. He totally invaded my personal space, making me feel uncomfortable. At the end of this whole experience I couldn’t get out of the salon quick enough. I decided I would see how I felt with my “new” hair cut, but after 2 days I had to call the manager. She was very understanding, and corrected my layers and apologised for the mess that was made to my hair, it did result in having to loose my length by about 3 inches, which was disappointing, as I had been growing my hair for so long.

After months and months of growing my hair again, I decided to go to another hair salon for a trim and tidy up, it was at this point a realised the true extent of the damage the last hair dresser caused. The hair dresser who was cutting my hair asked if I had my hair thinned out, I said no, and it was her look that just gave it all away, it turned out that my hair right at the bottom had been cut 6 inches shorter than the rest of my hair!. I just couldn’t believe it, why would he have done this to me. I will have to wait a very long time for this to grow out. It is so disappointing that someone of such poor training was able to get away with doing this, and even worse that the manager never mentioned the short layers at the back. Never again!

Went into salon, the side that does west Indian hair, for a perm. Was with a friend also. It took forever, waiting to be seen even though we had appointments. As it was coming to the end of the day the manager took over. I told her the perm was beginning to burn, she insisted that it was left on a little longer. Now I was starting to squirm in the seat, my friend still hadn't been started. I called manager over again, she checked and said it was not ready yet. She started on my friend. All other clients and staff had left. I told her the perm needed to be washed out. It was burning!

She started to scrub shampoo into my scalp. The pain was excruciating. Finally finishing mine and pals hair we went to main reception. My friend was not asked to pay as her hair had not been finished. I was asked to pay. I refused showing the back of my scalp which was weeping. She applied some cream which made it sting and I begged her to take it back off. My friend and I both made complaints but nothing happened. My pal left with an afro and i left with some skin missing. I ended up going to my doctors for treatment.

DO NOT GO HERE! !!!

Asked for a trim I ended up with short layers that now looks like a mullet, can't do anything with it, it's going to take me months to grow this rubbish cut out. Will never go here again, I'm really upset.

I visited their salon for a consultation to correct a horrendous colour and cut by another salon not within the brand in Wolverhampton.

They gave expert advice and I later visited to have my hair colour corrected. I explained that my confidence had been dented by another salon and was extremely nervous. They put me at ease and regularly checked the colour during the developing. The hairdresser also took a look over my hair beforehand to correct the dodgy cut.

The result was a good colour correction and cut. Hairdresser and colourist said they would call in couple of days to check that I was happy.

Hair looks in good condition. Very happy with the service.
