It's not for advanced baldness.

I've used it for a few months now and it makes hair thicker, though coarser,A modest result.

It essentially herbal based.If you want re-growth you will have to buy products like Regaine which is essentially a medicine at £20.00 a month.

Anyway,a short tonsure is fashionable these days.

Embrace it ,both ladies and gents find it attractive.

It's what's inside the bonce, not what's sprouting outside that counts!

I've been using Schwarzkopf Activ M Hair Retention Shampoo for nearly two years now and I would simply not go without it.

I've actually been scared that they stop making it - I've been buying two or three each of the tonic and shampoo for many months now. Crazy I know, but I had thinning hair at the front with a receding hair, and thanks to this product I was able to grow my hair to how I've wanted it for years. It became *A LOT* thicker.

You have to use both the tonic and shampoo I found, which can be costly, but I became willing to pay once I saw it working. It's definitely worth trying if you want to thicken your hair; I've had very little regrowth, but to make your hair thicker and healthier, there's nothing better - that I've found, anyway.

I've recommend it to friends, and also emailed Schwarzkopf personally telling them not to stop selling it. The day the do, I will be a suicidal, balding mess.

My father has been bold in certain places for many years. He used this shampoo and the "tonic" cream that comes with it for two weeks and saw small growth in those patches. Im not saying he had a full set of hair in two weeks, but definately small growth!

So I would definately recommend a try atleast.

I bought this Schwarzkopf Activ M Hair Retention Shampoo for Men about 10 days ago, but I have had to stop using it already. My hairline is receding and I thought this might be the answer. However, every time I've washed my hair with the shampoo, hair has fallen out and jusging from the length of them, they're not only from my hairline. This could be caused by the menthol in the shampoo.

Also, as someone else has said, the tonic, when applied to the scalp, makes the hair look greasy and clumps hair together to make the scalp underneath more visible, making this user look balder than he did to start with.

I've been using Schwarzkopf Activ M for 3 weeks now, and i can say that I've noticed some progress. My hair is thicker, stronger, grows faster and in points where I've gone bald, I've noticed small hairs growing.. So I can say, in my case, it's working fine.

I think this accelerated baldness may be due to the tonic they make you use. In 4 years I started to go baldness on the sides of my forehead but in 3 months I've almost no hair on top of my head. When I apply the tonic my hair looks greasy and clumps together to make the baldness look worse.

Started using Schwarzkopf Activ M Hair Retention Shampoo for Men almost four months ago when I noticed my hair was very thin on top. Since using this, I think the balding patch has spread and I have almost no hair in places! Can't say if this is the cause of the increased rate of hair loss, but either way I'm not happy!
