Schwarzkopf Live Luminance Infrared L42

I was very very blonde (used prelightener products) until about 2 months ago when I decided to change to red. At first, my hair had to be coloured every week to keep it from looking very faded and dull. Consequently it has gone darker and darker and eventually a more mahogany colour. I have tried every make that has a red colour in their range and all of them did not lift the colour back to red.

However, The Schwarzkopf Live Luminance L42 infra red did just that. It has lifted my colour back to red albeit a darker red. This product did exactly what it said on the box. I will use this again and probably for as long as I decide to remain red. This is a much superior 'red' product and far outshines all of its highstreet rivals.

My hair was almost the same colour brown as the model on the boxes was so I thought this dye would be excellent to change my colour to red. I followed the instructions as stated and once I had washed all the dye out and dried my hair it was nothing like the colour on the box. My hair has turned orange, not even slightly like the red advertised. I will be colouring it again with a dark colour ASAP as I'm horrified how it has turned out. I wouldn't recommend this product at all.

I used Schwarzkopf Live Luminance Infrared L42 to dye my hair red for Eid. My hair is naturally jet-black because I am Bengali asian so I was expecting this hair-dye to not work at all because it says on the packet that the darkest hair it will dye is a medium brownish color. So I want with it anyway thinking, what the heck. I put the gloves on, a smothered the dye in my hair and put cling-film around my head. The dye stung a little and I had to close my eyes. When I washed it out I came out of the shower and my whole red was bright red! It wasn't as red as the packet obviously because my hair was black but it was so much better than expected! The only snag was that I didn't spread the dye evenly over my hair so half of my head is redder than the other! I would advise using as comb to evenly spread the dye. I would recommend this dye to anyone, especially Asians who find it hard to find working hair dye!
