Usage Instructions Very Misleading On Belle Color
I have been using belle color for almost seven years now. Recently I have used the no ammonia luminous browns is the 5.3 maple brown shade as I have got to dislike the very strong ammonia scent and feel of the new formulation. I applied it as normal all over on dry hair like a shampoo as stated on the instructions and instead of a nice medium golden brown colour it came out very dark brown with reddish highlights. I phoned the garnier customer helpline number on the box to try to find out what had gone wrong. The advisor told me I had been applying the dye wrong. She told me it is not meant to be applied all over if the hair is already coloured you are supposed to apply to the root regrowth area and leave for twenty minutes then apply the rest of the mixture in the bottle all over the hair and leave for ten minutes then obviously rinse and apply the conditioner included. Now I always bought this dye because I dislike the fiddly regrowth applications of most dyes and as the instructions stated applied all over like a shampoo if my hair was already coloured or not. So according to the advisor I had been doing it wrong all along. Does anyone else apply it all over everytime they use it or just do the regrowth application? Please advise me.

What Is With The Gloves!
Great product, even has a shade which is identical to my original colour (no mean feat) but what is with the gloves?
Every time I buy this product the box proclaims a new formula, or, now enriched with this oil and that oil. Great, but please sort out your gloves!
By all means use the product but be aware that you will also have to provide your own gloves as doning a couple of bin bags would be similar to using those provided!
